Prime-Time Props — Thursday Night Football, Week 9

Another prime-time game, another disappointing team from New York headlining the night. Since trading for Davante Adams, the Jets’ season has gone from bad to worse, losing to the Steelers in Russell Wilson’s debut and most recently the Patriots in a game Drake Maye exited in the first half. Still, they’re a slight 2.5-point favorite at home against a shorthanded Texans offense.

Already missing Nico Collins for at least one more week, Houston will also be without Stefon Diggs for the rest of the season, who was diagnosed with a torn ACL. The matchup for Tank Dell and Dalton Schultz isn’t great, but they should both see a significant uptick in volume and will be critical pieces of Thursday night’s SGP.

Houston Texans @ New York Jets

(Jets -2.5, O/U 42.5, FanDuel Sportsbook)

Tank Dell 4+ Receptions and 20+ Receiving Yards

  • 17.3% target share and 21.8% air yards share over the last three games without Nico Collins, trailing only Stefon Diggs (out) for second on the team.
  • Career-high 14 targets in the only game without Collins and Diggs back in Week 10 of the 2024 season, catching six passes for 56 yards, leading Houston with a 35% target share and 39.1% air yard share.

Dalton Schultz 2+ Receptions

  • At least two receptions in seven out of eight games (87.5%), averaging 2.9 grabs on 4.8 targets.
  • At least five targets and three receptions in four out of the last five games (80%), averaging 3.2 grabs on 5.4 targets during that span.
  • 16.3% target share and 20.8% air yard share over the last three games without Collins, behind Diggs and Dell for third on the team.
  • At least five targets and four receptions in both games without Collins and Diggs since joining Houston last offseason.

Garrett Wilson 20+ Receiving Yards

  • At least 33 receiving yards in every game, averaging 6.4 grabs for 71.6 yards on 10.5 targets.
  • Team-high 26.8% target share, trailing only Justin Jefferson for second in the NFL.
  • Team-high 24.6% target share and 55.8% target share over the last two weeks with Davante Adams, catching five passes on eight-plus targets for over 60 yards in both games.
  • First in the NFL in air yard share with Adams (55.8%), averaging 87 receiving yards per game.
  • The Texans allow the 11th-most targets (7.6) per game to opposing WR1s.
  • 67.2 rating on the WR/CB Matchup Tool against Kamari Lassiter as the primary defender, 21st among all receivers in Week 9.
