Los Angeles Chargers running back Hassan Haskins scored a touchdown in a Week 18 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. Haskins ran the ball 12 times, gaining 33 yards. He wasn't targeted in the passing game. His touchdown came on a two-yard run near the end of the fourth quarter. With the Chargers mostly in control of the game late, Haskins was able to get some more run while starter J.K. Dobbins, who got 18 carries, was able to rest. The Chargers next game will be a Wild Card playoff matchup against the Houston Texans, where Haskins is unlikely to repeat his dozen carries.
Los Angeles Chargers running back Hassan Haskins could have a larger role than usual in a Week 17 game against the New England Patriots. With Gus Edwards (ankle) ruled out and J.K. Dobbins (knee) questionable after missing the past four games, Haskins and rookie Kimani Vidal could split the backfield in a game in which the Chargers are favored. If Dobbins is able to play, Haskins likely won't have fantasy value, but if it gets down to just Haskins and Vidal, both should have decent floors with higher ceilings than usual.
Los Angeles Chargers running back Hassan Haskins scored a touchdown in a Week 16 win over the Denver Broncos on Thursday Night Football. Haskins did not record a rushing attempt, but he was targeted twice in the passing game, making two catches for a total of 39 yards. His touchdown came on a shovel pass from quarterback Justin Herbert that turned into a 34-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter. Haskins will continue playing an important role on the real life Chargers, but he's unlikely to do much in fantasy leagues despite his exciting play in this game.
Los Angeles Chargers running back Hassan Haskins should still have a role in a Week 14 game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football. Haskins has been in a depth role all season, but he ended up playing 45% of the team's offensive snaps in Week 12. He was in on 15% in Week 13, but seemed to be kept off the field for the most part after a fumble early on. Still, with J.K. Dobbins (knee) out and Gus Edwards looking like he may be out of gas as a runner, Haskins could find himself with some red zone work. He's a low-ceiling, low-floor dart throw, but worth at least keeping an eye on in some deep leagues.
Los Angeles Chargers running back Hassan Haskins could have some sneaky fantasy value in a Week 13 game against the Atlanta Falcons. With starter J.K. Dobbins (knee) out for this week, Haskins should mix in with fellow running backs Gus Edwards and Kimani Vidal. Last week, after Dobbins was forced to leave the game, Edwards played most of the early downs and Haskins played passing downs and red zone situations. Assuming Vidal is active this week, which he should be, he'll likely eat into Haskins' role, but both could still end up with some solid fantasy production especially in PPR leagues. Haskins is available for free in almost every league right now.
