Dallas Cowboys quarterback Cooper Rush completed 32 of his 55 pass attempts for 354 yards, one touchdown, and one interception during Monday's loss to the Houston Texans. He also fumbled twice, but both were recovered by the Cowboys. All in all, Rush put together a solid fantasy showing by racking up yardage during garbage time. This was enough to reward fantasy managers who may have opted to stream him in Week 11. Moving forward, Rush will drop back down to the QB3 tier. He faces the Washington Commanders next Sunday.

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Cooper Rush is entrenched as the starter for another week heading into Monday night's matchup with the Houston Texans. It is a mid-range matchup, as Houston ranks 19th against opposing quarterbacks, but Rush grades as a QB3 given how inefficient he has been this season and the potential of Trey Lance replacing him at any given moment. Rush was a full participant in practice all week with a neck injury. It is also worth noting that CeeDee Lamb (back) popped up on Saturday's injury report. While Mike McCarthy noted that Lamb's injury should not impact his game status, he still has a questionable tag which further downgrades Rush's outlook for Week 11.

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Cooper Rush (neck) popped up on the first injury report of the week, although he was a full participant. Head coach Mike McCarthy said after last week's blowout loss that the team would continue to roll with Rush as the starter heading into Week 11's Monday night matchup with Houston. The veteran backup will need to play better in order to keep the job with Trey Lance behind him on the depth chart. He is off the fantasy radar even in formats that use multiple quarterbacks against a stout Houston defense.

Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy announced on Monday that the team is sticking with Cooper Rush as their starting quarterback moving forward. It means that Rush will make a second straight start in Week 11 against the Houston Texans on Monday Night Football with Dak Prescott (hamstring) most likely done for the rest of the season. The 30-year-old veteran was pretty dreadful in the 34-6 loss to the division-rival Philadelphia Eagles in Week 10, going 13-for-23 passing for 45 yards while also losing two fumbles. The Cowboys had packages for backup Trey Lance and even had him replace Rush late in the game, but Lance will remain the backup for at least another week. Rush isn't anything more than a desperation QB2 in superflex leagues, and it almost seems like a matter of time before Lance is making starts to play out the string in a lost season for Dallas.

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Cooper Rush had a poor outing in his first 2024 start as the Cowboys fell 34-6 to the Philadelphia Eagles. Rush completed 13-of-23 passes for just 45 yards, losing two fumbles in the game. He scrambled twice for two yards as well. Rush was pulled late in the game for Trey Lance, who did not look much better. It remains to be seen if Rush will maintain the starting job going into next week's Monday night game against Houston, but even if he does he is off the fantasy radar.
