According to Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network, the Tennessee Titans are signing kicker Brayden Narveson to the active roster. The Titans also added another year to his contract to keep him under team control through the 2025 season. This is also worth monitoring as No.1 kicker Nick Folk (abdomen) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game. Folk opened the week as a non-participant but was able to upgrade to a limited participant which may open the door for him to suit up. Narveson operated as the starting kicker in Green Bay over the first six games and held an underwhelming 70.6% conversion rate and was 16-for-16 on extra points. However, with Mason Rudolph getting the starting nod, both kickers should remain on the waiver wire and out of your starting lineup this weekend as the Titans may have trouble getting points on the board.
Free-agent kicker Brayden Narveson is signing with the Tennessee Titans practice squad, and starting kicker Nick Folk (undisclosed) is reportedly dealing with an injury. Narveson signed with Tennessee as an undrafted free-agent rookie this offseason but was released and signed with the Packers before the start of the season. The NC State product connected on 12 of his 17 field goal attempts and all 16 of his extra-point tries in six games for the Packers this season. If Folk cannot play against the Cincinnati Bengals this week, it can be assumed that Narveson will handle the kicking duties. He's not worth rolling the dice on in fantasy lineups.
Green Bay Packers kicker Brayden Narveson looks to continue building up some momentum as the Packers host the Arizona Cardinals in Week 6. After Narveson's brutal showing in Week 4 where he missed two field goals, the Packers stuck with him and Narveson made his only field goal attempt and booted home three extra point attempts in their win against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 5. Starting Narveson in fantasy lineups this week is a bet on the game environment being filled with points, which is definitely on the table with the scoring potential of both the Packers and Cardinals. Consider Narveson a fringe starting option this week in Week 6.
Green Bay Packers kicker Brayden Narveson was a top-10 fantasy kicker through the first three weeks of the season, going 9-of-11 in field goal attempts while making each of his six extra-point attempts. In Week 4, the wheels fell off last week against the Vikings. Narveson missed both field goal attempts on the afternoon but converted on all three extra-point attempts in the Packers' furious comeback bid that fell short. The Packers did not release Narveson after his lackluster performance as he got a vote of confidence from head coach Matt LaFleur, but the leash on Narveson can't be too long heading into Week 5 against the Los Angeles Rams. Even with a quartet of teams on bye this week, there are safer, less volatile options as your fantasy kicker than Narveson.
Green Bay Packers kicker Brayden Narveson has been excellent for the Packers and looks to keep his good fortune going as Green Bay hosts the Minnesota Vikings in Week 4. Narveson has booted home three field goals in every game this season and has been a top-10 fantasy kicker in each week as well. With Jordan Love (knee) possibly returning in Week 4, Narveson's outlook also gets a bump up as the Packers' offense should have more opportunities to score or get into the opponent's end of the field. With Narveson kicking well and averaging double-digit fantasy points per game this season, he's perfectly capable of being a solid contributor at kicker in fantasy lineups for Week 4's game in Green Bay against the Vikings.
