Cleveland Browns quarterback Jameis Winston (coach's decision) is inactive for Week 7 and has been listed as the team's emergency third quarterback. As a result, Dorian Thompson-Robinson is active, presumably as the backup quarterback behind Deshaun Watson. It's possible that this development is merely the result of Thompson-Robinson having a good string of practices, but it could also be preparation for a potential Watson benching, which has been speculated time and time again over the last few games. In the event that Cleveland, currently 1-5, does pull Watson from Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals, they would turn to Thompson-Robinson, not Winston.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are planning to start quarterback Russell Wilson on Sunday night against the New York Jets in Week 7 now that he is finally healthy. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport says to expect both Wilson and Justin Fields to play, but Wilson is expected to play the bulk of the snaps under center. Wilson was the presumptive starter back in training camp before suffering a calf strain, which kept him out for the first six weeks of the season while Fields led the team to a 4-2 start. The writing was on the wall for the Steelers to turn to Wilson this week when he took first-team practice reps over Fields. The 35-year-old Wilson surely doesn't have the type of mobility that Fields provides, which could be an issue against a Jets defense that ranks third in sacks and fifth in QB pressure rate in 2024. Wilson has led the NFL in sacks taken twice in the last five years. At best, treat Wilson as a low-end QB2 in fantasy.

New York Giants tight end Theo Johnson will look to make an impact in Week 7 against the Philadelphia Eagles after recording 30 yards on three catches in Week 6 against the Bengals. Johnson has struggled to find consistent fantasy relevance this season, with 11 receptions for 115 yards and no touchdowns, averaging just 2.83 fantasy points per game. He faces a tough matchup against an Eagles defense that ranks 2nd against tight ends, allowing just 6.24 points per game. While the Eagles pass defense is vulnerable overall, ranking 20th in yards allowed, Johnson will need to capitalize on limited opportunities, as Philadelphia has only given up seven passing touchdowns all season.

New York Giants rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers (concussion) said he's ready to play in Week 7 against the division-rival Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday and is "very excited" to get back on the field after missing the last two games due to a concussion. "Every game is a big game to me," Nabers said. The first-round rookie sensation out of LSU was trending towards playing this weekend when he was officially cleared from the leagues concussion protocol on Thursday. Nabers' return is bad news for the fantasy upside of both Wan'Dale Robinson and Darius Slayton, who were seeing more targets in his absence the last few weeks, but it's great news for quarterback Daniel Jones. Nabers racked up an eye-opening 35 catches for 386 yards and three touchdowns in his first four NFL games and needs to be returned to all starting lineups for Week 7 immediately.UPDATE: Nabers was officially cleared to play in Week 7 on Sunday.

Despite New York Giants running back Devin Singletary (groin) returning from a two-game absence in Week 7 against the division-rival Philadelphia Eagles, rookie Tyrone Tracy Jr. will still see significant playing time on Sunday. "He's earned it," head coach Brian Daboll said. "He's done a good job. So he'll get plenty of playing time." Daboll said that Tracy, Singletary and Eric Gray will all play, but the Giants plan to keep a close eye on Singletary to see how he's doing after coming off his groin ailment. It means the G-Men will likely ease Singletary back into action, making him a shaky RB3/flex option in his return against the Eagles. In the two games that Singletary missed, Tracy was much more electric and explosive than Singletary, carrying the ball 35 times for 179 yards and a score while catching seven passes for 58 yards. He's the better upside flex play this weekend than Singletary.
