As I write this article, the official kickoff of the 2025 league year and free agency — Wednesday, March 12 — has arrived. That means there will likely be a deluge of big dominos falling over the days and weeks to come, eventually leading up to the NFL Draft in a month and a half.
Lucky for us, we’ve already had several massive moves already this March, laying the groundwork for a few key buys and sells across the dynasty landscape. There will be more — much more — to come, but here are a few names to consider heading into the free agency period.
Dynasty Moves to Make: Sells
Brian Robinson Jr., RB, Washington Commanders

Brian Robinson Jr. has been, for all intents and purposes, a solid player for the Washington Commanders and a reasonably valuable fantasy asset over various stretches of his three seasons with the team. Unfortunately, he is now entering the last year of his rookie deal without ever cresting 800 rushing yards or cracking double-digit touchdowns. His best PPR finish was RB21 in 2023, and he slipped to RB29 with the arrival of Austin Ekeler and Jayden Daniels last year.
According to FTN StatsHub, his efficiency metrics were average at best, ranking 24th in yards per carry (4.3), 30th in explosive run rate, 37th in avoided tackle rate and 40th in EPA/attempt. With the Commanders’ current bankroll — $73.5M in cap space entering free agency — and a deep class of rookies, it feels very unlikely Robinson is a clear-cut starter come September (and even less likely looking further into the season). He’s priced as a low-end RB2, but that feels like the ceiling for a player that may have a fast-approaching floor.
Assets I’d trade Robinson for: Trey Benson, low-end TE1, Round 2 rookie pick
Tank Dell, WR, Houston Texans
Disclaimer up front: This is a sell specifically for teams looking to compete in 2025, not for rebuilders. Tank Dell has shown plenty of upside through his 25 games played over two seasons … the problem is that he’s missed nine and looks very likely to miss all 17 this season recovering from the gruesome and catastrophic injury he suffered last December (dislocated knee with ACL, MCL, LCL and meniscus damage). Then there’s the question of whether the 165-pound wideout will be as effective post-recovery … or be capable of staying healthy long-term. While his value is incredibly depleted — he was up to WR2 range a little over a year ago — you still might be able to get a decent veteran return by trading him now to a league mate with their eyes on the future. Even if you’re only acquiring a one-year rental, if that helps secure you a championship, it’s worth it.
Assets I’d trade Dell for: Jakobi Meyers, Davante Adams, Tank Bigsby, Aaron Jones Sr., Round 2 rookie pick
