Jacksonville Jaguars running back Tank Bigsby (ankle) has been ruled out ahead of the Week 11 matchup against the Detroit Lions. Bigsby played through an ankle injury last week, but was barely seen on the field after exiting early in the contest. Now, Bigsby will sit out after missing practice this week, but hopefully this will be a one-game absence. Travis Etienne Jr. will be the lead back and figures to see a heavy workload on Sunday. He rushed 11 times for 44 yards during the loss to the Minnesota Vikings last week. Etienne hasn't been able to produce reliable fantasy value in quite some time. This will be a great chance for him to break out of his slump.

Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson said that running back Tank Bigsby (ankle) will practice on Friday for the first time this week. "Optimistic... today will be a big day for him," Pederson said. Fantasy managers will want to check back later on Friday for the team's final injury report, where Bigsby is likely to pick up a questionable tag for Sunday's contest against the Detroit Lions. In addition to the injury, the 23-year-old's fantasy stock is down considerable heading into the weekend with quarterback Trevor Lawrence (shoulder) set to miss a second straight game. In last week's loss to the Minnesota Vikings with Mac Jones under center, Bigsby had just two carries for four yards. If he's active, he'll continue to share backfield touches with Travis Etienne Jr. against a stout Lions defensive front, making him a low-upside RB3/flex for fantasy managers.

The second-year ball carrier out of Auburn did not practice on Wednesday either, so he could be trending toward missing Sunday's contest against the Detroit Lions. Bigsby had two weeks of at least 23 half-PPR fantasy points in October, but he is trending down over the last few games. If he doesn't play in Week 11, Travis Etienne Jr. should see a ton of touches, but with Mac Jones at the helm and Detroit having a top defense against the run, his upside would be limited. That said, he could see additional receiving work and command enough volume to contend for an RB2 finish on Sunday.
