The San Francisco 49ers will take on the Arizona Cardinals in Mexico City this week for Monday Night Football.
The 49ers seem to be getting healthy at the right time to make a run for the NFC title, while the Cardinals are coming off a win with Colt McCoy as their starting quarterback.
Colt McCoy Over 220.5 Passing Yards
(PointsBet, -115)
Colt McCoy came in last week and led the Arizona Cardinals to a divisional win over the Los Angeles Rams. He played very well in a spot start and will be starting again for the Cardinals. The San Francisco 49ers present a much tougher defense than the lowly Rams.
However, McCoy is a seasoned vet and will not be confused or rattled by anything thrown out there. I think there is an advantage that McCoy only has one game of film this season to study. I like McCoy’s decision-making ability under Kliff Kingsbury on offense. Also, the 49ers are heavy favorites in this game and can get out to an early lead, which will lead to more passing opportunities for McCoy.
DeAndre Hopkins Over 6.5 Receptions
(DraftKings, +115)
DeAndre Hopkins has been nothing short of spectacular since his return from suspension. In three of his last four games, Hopkins has had 10+ receptions. He is the main focus of this Cardinals offense, and I expect his hefty target share to continue. Last week, with McCoy starting, Hopkins had 10 receptions for 98 yards, so McCoy should actually help Hopkins get to this number. Kingsbury does a great job of designing plays to get Hopkins open and get him the ball.
