The Indianapolis Colts were heading into Week 1 with high expectations. Offseason acquisition Carson Wentz was expected to miss time at the beginning of the season, was cleared to play and started in Week 1. Unfortunately, the team fell short to the Seattle Seahawks, 28-16.
The offense for the Colts was a mixed bag. Wentz threw for 251 and two touchdowns, but failed to push the ball downfield, evident by the team’s top two pass catchers of the week being running backs. The ground game also struggled to get going, despite Quenton Nelson being activated.
