The 2024 NFL Draft is in the books, and FTN has you covered with the 2024 Rookie Fantasy Scouting Guide 2.0 from Jeff Ratcliffe. But we’ve also dug into the ADP of all the rookies to see who is flying up the draft boards.

This post will look at which rookies have risen the most post-draft on Underdog Fantasy. The post-draft data is from Best Ball Mania V. Use promo code FTN to get a deposit match up to $100.

Fastest Rookie Risers in Best Ball (Post-Draft)

We’re comparing ADP from the day before the draft to May 4. All data comes from FTN’s Underdog ADP tool and the ADP Exploration Tool.

Keon Coleman, Buffalo Bills

ADP – April 24 ADP – May 4
Keon Coleman 137 86

Coleman’s ADP chart is wild. The 20-year-old (!) was the first pick of the second round and landed in arguably the most desirable fantasy spot for a rookie fantasy WR leading into 2024.

Coleman is immediately atop the Buffalo Bills depth chart after Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis departed. HIs ADP as of this writing is 86, but it’s not slowing down. He has shot up about 50 spots in ADP. Expect that to still rise.

Mitchell is the No. 7 WR in Jeff Ratcliffe’s 2024 Rookie Fantasy Scouting Guide. The comp he gives: Allen Robinson. “You can be sure that Josh Allen will target him heavily in the red zone,” wrote Ratcliffe.

Ladd McConkey, Los Angeles Chargers

ADP – April 24 ADP – May 4
Ladd McConkey 113 78

McConkey’s ADP curve is basically the same as Coleman’s, though not quite as dramatic – perhaps because he was going 2+ rounds ahead of Coleman before the draft already. McConkey landed in the second-best fantasy spot for a rookie WR (behind Buffalo) – paired with Justin Herbert.

Why is it not the most desirable landing spot? LA, like Buffalo, lost its top two WRs this offseason and has an elite QB. But LA also spent a first-round pick on a WR last year (Quentin Johnston), and while Johnston flopped as a rookie, it’s still too early to outright assume McConkey will be the top target for Herbert, but there’s obviously a chance it’ll happen.

Xavier Worthy, Kansas City Chiefs

ADP – April 24 ADP – May 4
Xavier Worthy 94 62

Worthy’s ADP has decreased three full rounds since he landed with the Chiefs at the end of the first round. But the chart above – going back to late February – is even more amazing. Worthy has risen from going in the 140s (12th round) to the round 5/6 turn.

What a rise!

Worthy, of course, exploded in popularity after he ripped off an insane 4.21 in the forty. Then he landed in one of the top spots for rookie fantasy WRs (sensing a theme in this article?) by pairing up with Patrick Mahomes in the WR-needy Chiefs offense.

In the RFSG, Ratcliffe writes that Worthy is his No. 4 rookie WR and compares him to DeSean Jackson. It’s hard not to be reminded about Mahomes and Tyreek Hill going yard drive after drive – just killing with speed.
