Next The Moves We Loved for Fantasy This Offseason

It’s been a couple weeks since our last look at dynasty Moves to Make earlier this month. As we move through the heart of rookie draft season and into the first tastes of camp hype, I’ve got four more names to buy or sell in your ongoing pursuit of roster perfection!

Dynasty Moves to Make: Sells

Mike Evans, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Mike Evans might be the most consistent, reliable, “get what you asked for” asset in dynasty. He’s logged between 1,000 and 1,300 yards in nine of his 11 career seasons and scored between 11 and 14 touchdowns in four of the last five. He finished between WR7 and WR17 in PPR in eight straight seasons. So why trade him away? Well, they say all good things come to an end … so do all great things. Evans will turn 32 years old just before the 2025 season and is coming off his career-low in yards (1,004) and yards per reception (13.6) in 2024. He missed three games (for the first time in five years), and he did far more fantasy damage when Chris Godwin missed time … averaging 52% more fantasy points per game in the seven contests Godwin was absent last year.

On top of that, the team extended Godwin in March but has not yet done so with Evans (who will hit unrestricted free agency next year if they don’t), and then drafted Emeka Egbuka 19th overall in April. We even saw a mini-breakout from Jalen McMillan late last year (also in Godwin’s absence). Now, don’t get me wrong: Evans will likely have another strong WR2 season in 2025. Heck, he might even re-sign for another year or two to finish out his career in Tampa Bay. But I believe the cliff is coming, and his days as a yearly fantasy starter are numbered. While his community consensus cost is beginning to reflect that (down at WR38), he’s still being valued around veterans like Tyreek Hill and Godwin himself, as well as rookies like Jayden Higgins, Tre Harris, and Jack Bech, each of whom could match his 2025 production and then hold value for several years longer. If you can move on for similar short-term value and superior long-term upside, now is the time to do it.

Assets I’d trade Evans for: Early Round 2 rookie pick (Jayden Higgins, Cam Skattebo), Ricky Pearsall, Chuba Hubbard
