Cleveland Cavaliers forward Dean Wade (knee) will be re-evaluated in approximately two weeks, the team announced. He will be out for a third consecutive game as the Cavaliers visit Miami on Wednesday. Wade was hurt in a game against the Philadelphia 76ers last week and has been diagnosed with a right knee bone bruise. Max Strus has cemented his place in the starting lineup during Wade's absence. Although he hasn't been quite like his usual self after missing a significant portion of the season due to an ankle injury, Strus will head into Wednesday's action following back-to-back strong performances.
Cleveland Cavaliers forward Dean Wade (knee) has been ruled out for Monday's matchup with the Detroit Pistons while he deals with a right knee sprain. This is his second consecutive absence after starting in the last 14 games prior to the injury. Max Strus will likely join the starting five again in his place since Evan Mobley returned on Saturday. Strus put up 14 points, nine rebounds, and three assists in their last game. He'd serve as a solid streaming option in deeper category leagues.
Cleveland Cavaliers forward Dean Wade (knee) will rejoin the lineup on Friday versus Denver. Knee soreness kept Wade out of action for one game. The 28-year-old forward heads straight back into the starting lineup, bumping Sam Merrill to the bench. Generally, Wade doesn't provide much production to fantasy managers, even as a starter. He has averaged 7.4 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 1.4 steals with the first unit this season.
Cleveland Cavaliers forward Dean Wade (knee) will not be available for Monday's contest against Utah. He's troubled by a sore right knee and has been downgraded from questionable to out. Wade's absence will open a spot in the starting unit for Sam Merrill (quadriceps), who has been upgraded from questionable to available. However, Merrill has posted unspectacular numbers throughout the campaign, even during his previous lone start, so he's not somebody fantasy managers should rush to grab.
Cleveland Cavaliers forward Dean Wade (ankle) will make his return to the court for Tuesday's game against the Washington Wizards. Wade is back in the mix following a six-game absence due to a left ankle sprain. His return won't mean too much with the Cavs mostly healthy at the forward spot. Wade figures to resume his role playing in the teens, which doesn't result in much fantasy value. Isaac Okoro and Georges Niang are likely to see a few less minutes with Wade returning.
