Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant (hamstring) has been ruled out ahead of Wednesday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers. The Suns will rule him out a full day in advance as Durant will miss his second straight contest due to right hamstring soreness. It wouldn't be shocking to see the superstar forward will more time due to this issue. In the meantime, Chimezie Metu should remain in the starting five. He's coming off a 14-point performance during his last game. Metu is worth a look as a streaming option while Durant is out. Devin Booker and Bradley Beal will be the focal points on offense for Wednesday's game.

Charlotte Hornets forward Cody Martin will shift into the starting five ahead of Tuesday's game against the Sacramento Kings. The Hornets are going to be shorthanded for this game with Brandon Miller (hip) unable to play. As a result, Martin will move into the starting five and should see a boost in usage. He's not much of a scorer considering he has scored single digits in four of his last five games. Martin is a solid defender, so he might be able to help fantasy managers in 9-cat leagues.

San Antonio Spurs guard Malaki Branham (ankle) has been ruled out for the rest of Tuesday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies. He started and played the first seven minutes before exiting the game due to a right ankle injury. The severity of the injury is unknown, so fantasy managers will have to check back for another update. His absence will likely free up additional playing time for Blake Wesley. It also means that Keldon Johnson will likely shift back to the starting unit, assuming Branham misses time. Johnson should already be rostered in most leagues, but a move to the starting five would boost his fantasy value.

Memphis Grizzlies guard Derrick Rose (thigh) won't return to Tuesday's game against the San Antonio Spurs. The veteran guard was able to play nine minutes during the first half before exiting due to left thigh soreness. His absence will result in John Konchar and David Roddy getting more run in the rotation. Also, Marcus Smart will probably shift over to point guard whenever Ja Morant checks out of the game. Fantasy managers will have to check back for another update on Rose after this contest.

Charlotte Hornets forward Brandon Miller (hip) has been ruled out ahead of Tuesday's game against the Sacramento Kings. The rookie forward wasn't on the original injury report, but will ultimately sit this game out due to a left hip contusion. The Hornets are already shorthanded, which means Nick Smith Jr. could be asked to make a spot start. Also, Ish Smith could remain in the starting lineup with Terry Rozier returning for this game. Whoever gets the starting nod would see a slight boost in fantasy value for this contest.
