Jakob Poeltl Will Return Against Houston

Toronto Raptors center Jakob Poeltl (ankle) will return for Friday's meeting with the Houston Rockets. The 26-year-old hasn't played in nearly a month, missing time because of an ankle injury. He'll likely be limited in his first game back, so his DFS ceiling isn't as high as usual. But Poeltl should be inserted back into all fantasy lineups, with Thaddeus Young expected to see considerably fewer minutes.

Bennedict Mathurin Available Versus Kings

Indiana Pacers guard Bennedict Mathurin (toe) will suit up for Friday's game against the Sacramento Kings. Mathurin will return to the lineup after missing Friday's game due to a toe sprain. Ben Sheppard played 22 minutes off the bench, but is expected to have a reduced role with Mathurin back in the picture. Sheppard isn't consistent enough to trust in fantasy formats right now. Fantasy managers can get Mathurin back in their lineups ahead of Friday's slate.

Myles Turner Won't Play On Friday

Indiana Pacers center Myles Turner (ankle) has been ruled out ahead of Friday's game against the Sacramento Kings. Turner was splitting up the center minutes with Jalen Smith during Thursday's game. However, the big man picked up a left ankle injury during the contest. As a result, Turner will be held out of the second game of this back-to-back set. Smith figures to move into the starting five and see increased playing time. He'll be worth a look as a streaming choice for Friday's slate. Also, Isaiah Jackson could see more playing time but he's not as appealing of a streaming option.

OG Anunoby Uncertain For Saturday's Game

New York Knicks forward OG Anunoby (elbow) is questionable for Saturday's matchup with the Los Angeles Lakers. It hasn't taken the 26-year-old long to adapt to life with his new team, averaging 15.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.8 steals in 14 games with the Knicks. He's missed the last three with an elbow injury. But if Anunoby can't return on Saturday, Donte DiVincenzo should continue to benefit.

Anthony Davis Considered Questionable For Saturday

Los Angeles Lakers center Anthony Davis (Achilles) is listed as questionable ahead of Saturday's game against the New York Knicks. Both Davis and LeBron James (ankle) were forced to sit out on Thursday. That resulted in Jarred Vanderbilt (foot) and Jaxson Hayes moving into the starting unit. Sadly, Vanderbilt wasn't able to finish the contest and is now expected to miss multiple weeks. The Lakers would be extremely shorthanded if both Davis and James miss Saturday's game. That being said, Rui Hachimura and Jaxson Hayes could be asked to take on heavy roles. Fantasy managers will have to check back on Saturday for another update on their status.
