New York Knicks forward/center Precious Achiuwa (hamstring) will sit out Thursday's contest against the Los Angeles Lakers. The team has downgraded him from questionable to out. With Karl-Anthony Towns (personal) back in the lineup and Mitchell Robinson (ankle) also available, it's possible Achiuwa would not have played regardless. He only logged four minutes the last time all three were available. New York has another game on Friday against the Los Angeles Clippers, and it wouldn't be surprising to see Achiuwa replace Robinson in the lineup for that one.

New York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson (ankle) will be in the lineup on Thursday against the Los Angeles Lakers. The Knicks listed Robinson as questionable for the game on the initial injury report. His status has now been upgraded to available, with Robinson ready to make his fourth appearance since recovering from ankle surgery. Robinson will play a limited role behind starting center Karl-Anthony Towns (personal), who returns from a one-game absence. The 26-year-old has averaged 4.0 points and 5.0 rebounds in 13.7 minutes so far.

New York Knicks forward OG Anunoby (thumb) will play in Thursday's matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers. A thumb sprain initially left Anunoby with a questionable tag. On Thursday, Anunoby has a chance to score 20-plus points in a third consecutive game for the first time this season. He finished off last week with a 23-point effort against the Miami Heat and started this week's action by notching 29 points against the Golden State Warriors.

Miami Heat guard/forward Alec Burks (back) has been listed as questionable for Friday's meeting with the Minnesota Timberwolves. The veteran is on the injury report with lower back pain. Burks' fantasy stock has significantly grown lately, as he has logged three consecutive starts. However, Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra may have to rethink his plans again on Friday if he can't use Burks. The good news is that Tyler Herro (illness) and Andrew Wiggins (ankle) have not yet been ruled out for Friday, and Miami would be much stronger if they can return.

Miami Heat guard/forward Jaime Jaquez Jr. (ankle) is listed as questionable on the injury report ahead of Friday's clash against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The second-year player recently sprained his right ankle and could miss a fourth consecutive game. Jaquez's sophomore season has not gone as planned, but he could take on a more prominent role in the rotation if he returns on Friday, as the Heat are dealing with several injuries.
