NBA Best Bets of the Day (1/10)

This is a big slate for a Tuesday in the NBA. It is also a messy one with so many superstars listed as questionable or out. Devin Booker, Joel Embiid, Chris Paul, Luka Doncic, Paul George and Bam Adebayo are all on one of those lists. So are solid secondary pieces like Kelly Oubre, Tyler Herro and Bojan Bogdanovic.

We will very likely have some more additional plays when the information drops on who is in and who is out, but for now I have three plays in the player prop market that I like as best bets for Tuesday.

Best NBA Points Prop Bet

Isaiah Stewart Over 13.5 Points

(-108, Caesars)

Isaiah Stewart is coming off a 20/10 game against this same opponent last time out. The problem is that matchup was with Montrezl Harrell, and Tuesday’s could be against a returning Joel Embiid. Either way, the Pistons are shorthanded with Jalen Duren and Bojan Bogdanovic both out. That opens up 30-plus minutes for Stewart to play a big role. I love it if Harrell is starting and Embiid remains out. Even if Embiid plays, I do think we still have value on this as his minutes need to remain high.

Best NBA Rebound Prop Bet

Luguentz Dort Over 3.5 Rebounds

(-130, BetRivers)

The Thunder have some injuries in the frontcourt, which has opened up a few extra minutes and rebounding opportunities for the rest of the team. Guys like Josh Giddey and Luguentz Dort have answered that call. Dort has five or more rebounds in four of the last five games. This number is only 3.5, which is a cushion from his recent production. It is juiced up, but it makes sense as he is very likely to top it.

Best NBA 3-Point Prop Bet

Norman Powell Over 1.5 3-Pointers Made

(-185, DraftKings Sportsbook)

This number is too low. The payout is also low, but still worth it for Norman Powell. Paul George is out again, which has paved the way for increased minutes for Powell. Kawhi is still the main threat and his ability to get into the foul line area causes defenses to rotate and pay him attention. When that happens, shots open up on the perimeter and Powell should be the beneficiary of that.
