2024 Team Stats

San Francisco Giants second baseman Thairo Estrada hit a three-run, walk-off homer to lift them to a 7-6 win over the Chicago Cubs on Monday. Estrada's homer was his ninth and capped off a night that saw him finish with two hits, four RBI, and a walk in five plate appearances. The home run snapped a string of 20 consecutive games where Estrada had not gone deep. He is slashing .243/.277/.401 with 39 RBI and 37 runs scored. Estrada's versatility as a middle infielder offers some value and remains a solid fantasy option in leagues with 12 or more teams.

San Francisco Giants outfielder Heliot Ramos had a big game in a 4-3 loss to the Los Angeles Angels on Saturday. Ramos went 3-for-5 with two doubles, a homer, and three RBI to provide all of the Giants' offense in the loss. The speedy outfielder hit a two-run homer in the first inning and added an RBI double in the fifth to complete the scoring for San Francisco. Ramos is putting together an excellent season for the Giants, hitting .325 with seven doubles, eight homers, 15 runs, 30 RBI, and one stolen base across 126 at-bats. He has been red-hot at the plate over his past 15 games, hitting .386 with six homers and 18 RBI over that span. Ramos should be owned in all fantasy leagues while he is seeing the ball well at the plate.

San Francisco Giants left-hander Kyle Harrison notched his seventh quality start after he allowed one earned run over 6 1/3 innings in Monday's 4-3 extra-inning win over the Houston Astros. Harrison scattered four hits and did not allow a walk while striking out three despite recording a no-decision. The promising youngster has been up and down all season with a 4-3 record and a 3.96 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 68 strikeouts and 22 walks over 77 1/3 innings. After managing the Astros, Harrison has a much better matchup against the Angels on Sunday, something fantasy managers (especially DFS gamers) should keep in mind.

San Francisco Giants right-hander Camilo Doval tossed a scoreless ninth inning to save a 3-1 win over the Texas Rangers on Saturday. Doval worked around a hit and a walk to keep Texas off the board on the way to earning his 11th save in 13 opportunities in 2024. Overall, it has been an up-and-down season for Doval, who has a 3.91 ERA, 1.58 WHIP, and 31 strikeouts in 25 1/3 innings of work for the Giants. That being said, he has a firm grip on the ninth-inning role in San Francisco and should see the bulk of the save chances for the contending Giants. He should remain in fantasy lineups as a nice source of strikeouts and saves moving forward.

San Francisco Giants first baseman Wilmer Flores had a big night in a 5-2 win over the Texas Rangers on Friday. Flores went 2-for-5 with a pair of solo homers in the winning effort. The veteran infielder hit both of his homers off Texas starter Michael Lorenzen, one in the second inning and another in the fourth. Flores is now hitting .224 with four homers, 16 runs, and 21 RBI across 156 at-bats this season. He has done most of his damage of late, hitting .280 with three homers and seven RBI over his past seven contests. Flores is worth a look in deep, NL-only leagues while he is swinging a hot bat.
