After further testing, Sandoval was found to have a torn UCL and will likely need Tommy John surgery. If that happens, Sandoval probably won't be able to pitch again until the middle or late next season. He wasn't much of a fantasy option this season with a 2-8 record and 5.08 ERA in 16 starts. The Angels have recalled another starter yet, so we'll have to wait and see what they do with Sandoval's spot.
