Ranger Suarez Cruises Through Third Rehab Start

Philadelphia Phillies starting pitcher Ranger Suarez (back) pitched five scoreless innings for Triple-A Lehigh Valley in his most recent rehab outing -- collecting a win against the first-place Columbus Clippers. The 29-year-old was solid, allowing two hits and two walks while striking out five. Through 12 minor league innings, he's let up just six hits and one earned run -- punching out 16 batters. Suarez built up to 59 pitches in this start (eight swinging strikes), and is scheduled for his fourth rehab outing this Sunday. It's possible that plan changes, considering fellow SP Cristopher Sanchez (forearm) left his start against the New York Mets on Tuesday with forearm soreness. Still, there's been no further update on his status. Currently, Suarez is on track to return to the team in early May.

Brandon Marsh Nearing Rehab Assignment

Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Brandon Marsh (hamstring) ran the bases on Tuesday and feels back to 100 percent. He'll have a rest day on Wednesday and will likely begin a minor-league rehab assignment on Thursday, according to manager Rob Thomson. This is a quick turnaround for the 27-year-old, as he was only officially placed on the 10-day injured list two days ago. It was retroactive to April 17, meaning he would be eligible to return this weekend if his rehab goes well. Hopefully this extended break will help him snap out of his early-season slump, as he's batting just .095 so far through 17 games.

Cristopher Sanchez Exits With Forearm Soreness

Philadelphia Phillies starting pitcher Cristopher Sanchez was pulled from his start after just two innings and 58 pitches due to left forearm soreness. He will be evaluated further before any more updates are given, but this isn't good news for the breakout lefty. The injury was already starting to show itself early in the start, as his velocity was noticeably down a tick to start the game. It looked like he was taking the next step into ace territory in 2025, posting a 2.96 ERA with 31 strikeouts and six walks through his first four starts of the season. Hopefully this injury isn't the worst-case scenario, but more information should be available within the coming days.

Bryson Stott Hits Three-Run Home Run On Monday

Philadelphia Phillies second baseman Bryson Stott had a productive game in a 5-4 loss to the New York Mets on Monday. Stott went 2-for-5 with a three-run homer in the close loss. He made things interesting in the ninth, ripping a three-run homer off New York closer Edwin Diaz but the Phillies ultimately fell one run short of tying the game. Stott is now hitting .295 with two homers, 12 runs, 13 RBI, and four steals across 78 at-bats this season. With a pair of 30-steal seasons under his belt, Stott has emerged as a quality speed threat in fantasy leagues.

J.T. Realmuto Getting Sunday Off

Philadelphia Phillies catcher J.T. Realmuto will get the day off on Sunday when the Phillies conclude a series against the Miami Marlins. Realmuto has started in each of the previous eight games. During this stretch, he has held a .200/.273/.333 slash line with one double and one home run. Fantasy managers should expect the veteran backstop to return to the starting nine on Monday evening when the Phillies begin a series in Queens against the Mets. Through 18 games this season, the 34-year-old has held a .234/.315/.338 slash line with four runs and six RBI. Instead, Rafael Marchan will be behind the dish and catching for Jesus Luzardo. He will bat ninth and should not be targeted in any DFS competitions.
