Lourdes Gurriel Jr. recorded a three-run homer in the bottom of the sixth as the Arizona Diamondbacks beat the St. Louis Cardinals 4-2 on Saturday. With the game tied 1-1, and runners on first and second with no outs, Gurriel Jr. took Kyle Gibson deep. Gurriel Jr. finished the game going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBIs and did strike out once. The outfielder now has four homers on the year.

Adbert Alzolay recorded his second save of the season on Saturday as the Chicago Cubs beat the Seattle Mariners 3-1. Alzolay entered the game in the bottom of the ninth and got Dylan Moore to ground out to lead off the inning, before getting Dominic Canzone to fly out. After Cal Raleigh had a single, Alzolay struck out JP Crawford to end the game and get his second save of the season. The right-hander is now 1-1 with a 2.70 ERA this season, while 2-for-4 on save opportunities.

Shota Imanga was dominant in his third start of the season as the right-hander went 5.1 innings allowing one run, zero earned in a 4-1 win for the Chicago Cubs. Imanga struck out four in the outing to keep his ERA at 0.00 through three starts. Imanga left the game in the top of the sixth with runners on third and second after back-to-back walks and a groundout moved the runners. The Cubs bullpen was able to get out of it and give Imanga the win who improved to 2-0 on the season.

Chicago Cubs first baseman Michael Busch homered in his third straight game on Saturday in a 4-1 victory over the Mariners. Busch finished 2-for-4 and is now 6-for-14 (.428) over his last four games with a double, three home runs, two walks, four RBI and three runs scored. He's also hit safely in nine of his last 10, with a BA of .311 on the young season. The 26-year-old didn't have much success last season in his debut with the Dodgers but has hit the ground running in Chicago. The former top-100 prospect is rostered in just 37% of Yahoo leagues, so managers in need of depth should consider picking him up, and he's also eligible at both first base and third base which gives managers added flexibility.

Los Angeles Dodgers closer Evan Phillips picked up his fifth save of the season in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Padres. Phillips allowed two hits and didn't strike out a batter despite throwing 17 of his 23 pitches for strikes, but didn't give up a run on his way to recording the save. The 29-year-old has been excellent this season, posting a 1.17 ERA, 0.91 WHIP, and a 7:1 K:BB over seven-and-two-thirds IP. He's just one save behind the MLB save leader Clay Holmes and the righty remains a top option at closer on one of the best teams in baseball.
