Taylor Ward Powers Angels With Two-Run Homer In Win Over Jays

Los Angeles Angels outfielder Taylor Ward had a solid night at the plate in an 8-3 victory Tuesday over the Toronto Blue Jays. Ward finished 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, a walk, and an additional run scored in Tuesday's win. He blasted a two-run shot off Blue Jays pitcher Jose Urena in the first inning, which traveled 419 feet and left the bat at 106.4 mph, kicking off the scoring for the Angels. It was his seventh long ball of the season. Ward has struggled to find consistency in a banged-up Angels lineup this season, slashing just .188/.234/.391 with a .625 OPS. He will look to find more production as the Angels try to climb in the AL West.

Brent Rooker Collects Three Hits, Steals Two Bases In A’s Loss To Mariners

Athletics outfielder Brent Rooker went 3-for-5 with an RBI single, two runs, two stolen bases, and a walk in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to the Seattle Mariners. The 30-year-old drove in a run in the third inning with a 96.3 mph single to center field and later added a double and a single in the eighth and ninth innings, respectively. He also stole his first two bases of the season and has logged multi-hit efforts in two of his last four games. Rooker is now slashing .255/.323/.497 with an .820 OPS and a .345 wOBA in 2025. Rooker and the Athletics will look to bounce back and win the series on Wednesday in an afternoon rubber match against the Mariners.

Zac Gallen Solid In Win Over Mets, Picks Up Second Straight Victory

Arizona Diamondbacks right-hander Zac Gallen (3-4) earned his second consecutive win Tuesday in a 5-1 victory over the New York Mets. Gallen threw 101 pitches over seven dominant innings, striking out six and allowing just one run on two hits and three walks. He picked up his third win of the season. The 29-year-old now owns a 4.37 ERA, 1.21 WHIP, and 49 strikeouts across 45 1/3 innings this season. Gallen has looked sharper in recent outings, and the Diamondbacks have reason to be encouraged by his form. He is scheduled to start at home against the Los Angeles Dodgers this weekend.

Jung Hoo Lee Helps Power San Francisco Past Cubs

San Francisco Giants outfielder Jung Hoo Lee went 3-for-6 with a home run and three RBI in his team's 14-5 victory over the Chicago Cubs on Sunday. His other two hits were singles, and he scored two runs. Lee put the Giants up 4-0 in the top of the third with his fourth dinger of the season, scoring Willy Adames. The second-year pro's third RBI came during a scoring outburst in the top of the eleventh inning when the Giants sealed Chicago away for good with an impressive nine runs. Lee has been excellent for the team in 2025, batting a crisp .312 and doubling his home run production from a season ago (four) in seven fewer at-bats. How high he'll reach in that figure remains to be seen, but he's definitely figured something out regarding his swing, and statcast supports the gains (.315 xBA).

Zach Neto’s Swipes Two Bags To Help Lift Angels To Victory Over Blue Jays

Los Angeles Angels shortstop Zach Neto had a nice night in an 8-3 victory Tuesday over the Toronto Blue Jays. Neto finished 1-for-3 with a walk, two stolen bases, and two runs scored on Tuesday. He picked up a single in the first inning before scoring on a Taylor Ward two-run homer. The 24-year-old also stole two bases in the victory, bringing his season total up to seven. Neto has produced well at the top of the Angels' lineup, hitting .290 (18-for-62) with a .323 OBP and a .888 OPS. His barrel percentage has also doubled in this young season, from 8.4 last year to 16.7 this year. Fantasy managers should continue to roll with Neto while he's swinging a hot bat.
