Minnesota Twins utility man Willi Castro (oblique) is still not back in the starting lineup for Tuesday's contest against the division-rival Chicago White Sox at Target Field. Brooks Lee will make another start at third base and will hit eighth against White Sox right-hander Davis Martin. Castro has been out since injuring his right oblique on April 16, so the Twins could be considering placing him on the injured list if he can't make it back by the end of this week. The 27-year-old Puerto Rican switch-hitter has gotten off to a slow start at the plate in addition to his injury, as he's gone 15-for-66 (.227) with only a homer, five RBI, one steal and seven runs scored as he bounces around the diamond. With Royce Lewis (hamstring) still on the IL, Lee will benefit from extra playing time at third until Castro is ready to return. The former first-rounder is still trying to get going offensively after a 2-for-19 start with a homer and two RBI.

Cleveland Guardians second baseman Gabriel Arias is out of the starting lineup again on Tuesday as the team continues their series against the visiting New York Yankees. Daniel Schneemann will start at second base and hit eighth against Yankees right-hander Will Warren. It's the second time in the last three games that Arias has started on the bench for Cleveland. The 25-year-old hasn't been bad to start the 2025 season, as he came into Tuesday's game hitting .277/.333/.508 with an .841 OPS, four home runs, 10 RBI and a stolen base in 72 plate appearances for the Guardians. If the Venezuelan infielder isn't dealing with an injury, we'd expect him to be back in Wednesday's lineup in Cleveland. Schneemann is batting .219 (7-for-32) with two homers and three RBI in his first 13 games of 2025. He'll be a low-upside DFS option against a pitcher he's never faced.

Baltimore Orioles pitching prospect Brandon Young was recalled from Triple-A Norfolk on Tuesday. The 26-year-old made his major league debut on April 19, allowing three earned runs on seven hits and three walks while striking out three in four innings of work. The O's do not have a scheduled starter for Friday's game against Detroit, so Young could be an option there. The 6-foot-6 hurler has looked good through three starts at Triple-A this season, posting a 2.76 ERA, 0.92 WHIP, and a 2:17 BB:K through 16 1/3 innings pitched. The righty could be used in AL-only formats, but may not be a great streamer otherwise, as the Tigers are top 10 in runs scored per game in 2025 despite being bottom 10 in strikeouts per game. Reliever Cody Poteet was placed on the 15-day IL in a corresponding move.

San Francisco Giants first base prospect Bryce Eldridge (wrist) is set to make his season debut this evening with Double-A Richmond. The top prospect in San Francisco was sidelined through the early part of the campaign due to a wrist injury he suffered in spring training. Eldridge is currently considered the No. 23-best prospect in the sport on MLB.com. Last summer, the former 16th overall pick progressed quite quickly through the San Francisco system. He opened the season with Low-A San Jose and was able to finish the season with Triple-A Sacramento. Across 116 total games, Eldridge did not show many signs of slowing down as he held a strong .291/.374/.516 slash line with 27 doubles and 23 long balls. Fantasy managers should keep a close eye on his progression as he should be in the mix for his MLB debut later this season.

Atlanta Braves starting pitcher Spencer Strider (hamstring) has been diagnosed with a Grade 1 hamstring strain. Mark Bowman of MLB.com noted that this is the "mildest" of strains, but will still take some time to heal. In addition, Bowman reported that Strider's timetable will likely be determined over the next few weeks. Strider made his season debut last Wednesday against the Toronto Blue Jays but was shortly placed on the injured list again, this time with a hamstring injury. Strider was only able to make two starts in 2024 before undergoing an internal brace procedure. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status but should expect the 25-year-old to miss at least the next two weeks. While he remains sidelined, AJ Smith-Shawver could be recalled from Triple-A to serve as a depth option in the rotation.
