Athletics designated hitter Brent Rooker went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run during their loss to the Chicago Cubs on Tuesday evening. Rooker went deep in the opening frame off Chicago Cubs left-handed pitcher Justin Steele. This two-run shot also scored outfielder Lawrence Butler. Later in the contest, he would cross home plate a second time on a Shea Langeliers home run. Rooker has turned the corner since going 0-for-4 with four strikeouts on Opening Day, going 7-for-22 with two home runs, five RBI, and four runs across his previous five contests. Last summer, the 30-year-old posted an impressive .293/.365/.562 slash line with 26 doubles and 39 home runs. His home run total was the fourth-most in the American League. He will look to stay hot on Wednesday, facing Jameson Taillon.

Athletics catcher Shea Langeliers went 2-for-4 with a two-run blast during their loss to the Chicago Cubs on Tuesday evening. Langeliers hit a single in his first at-bat off Chicago southpaw Justin Steele. Then in the third inning, Langeliers would take Steele deep with a two-run blast, which scored Brent Rooker. Since going 0-for-3 on Opening Day, Langeliers has posted a solid .267/.353/.667 slash line with two home runs, five RBI, and a 2:2 BB:K over his previous four games. Last summer, Langeliers enjoyed a career year as he went deep 29 times and held a .224/.288/.450 slash line. The 27-year-old generated a strong 12.8 percent barrel rate with a .456 xSLG. Even though he does not draw walks often, his elite power upside gives him significant value in all formats, especially at the catcher position. He will look to stay hot on Wednesday, facing Chicago right-hander Jameson Taillon.

St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Jordan Walker went 2-for-5 with a home run and two RBI in Tuesday's 9-7 loss to the Los Angeles Angels. He also singled, scored a run, swiped a bag, and struck out. Walker took Angels pitcher Kyle Hendricks deep in the bottom of the fourth inning for his second HR of the season -- getting the better of the veteran on a nine-pitch at-bat. It was the former first-round pick's second multi-hit game in a row. Walker has been hitting well to start the season, sporting a robust .429/.529/.643 triple-slash with just two strikeouts in 14 at-bats. The 22-year-old is a former top prospect who hit for power and average in the minors.

Arizona Diamondbacks second base prospect Tim Tawa went 2-for-3 with a home run and a triple during their victory on Tuesday evening. Tawa brought in four of Reno's seven runs during this contest. Through his first four games of the Triple-A regular season, Tawa has enjoyed an incredible start, launching a home run in each of his previous three contests and holding an overall .439/.529/1.214 line. He has tallied at least one hit in each contest and two in each of his last two. During this hot start, he has tallied 10 RBI and scored seven runs. The 25-year-old made his Triple-A debut last summer and held a solid .304/.376/.616 slash line with 11 doubles and 10 home runs across 37 contests. Fantasy managers should watch Tawa's production closely as he should contend for an MLB debut later this summer.

Detroit Tigers outfielder Riley Greene went 2-for-4 with a double and a home run in his team's 4-1 road win over the Seattle Mariners on Tuesday. Greene knocked in one RBI and scored and struck out twice. The former fifth-overall pick of the 2019 draft posted two hard-hit balls in this one -- his double came off the bat at 95.9 MPH, and the round-tripper, a 106.2 MPH blast to left-center-field off Trent Thornton. Greene curiously hasn't drawn a walk yet -- something he did at an 11.0% clip a season ago -- and holds a ghastly 43.5% strikeout rate. However, those should normalize as the season trudges along. The 24-year-old is 6-for-23 (.261) with two homers, two doubles, two RBI, and four runs.
