Kansas City Royals relief pitcher Lucas Erceg continued his recent hot streak in Monday's Game 1 4-3 win over the Guardians, picking up his eighth save of the season. Erceg came in to pitch the bottom of the ninth inning up by one. He got the first out on a line-out, allowed a walk, and got the final two outs on a line-out and a pop-out. The 29-year-old has pitched well all season and has yet to allow a run since being traded to the Royals. Further, five of his last six appearances have been saves, suggesting that he is the Royals' bullpen arm to roster for fantasy managers down the stretch.

Chicago Cubs outfielder Seiya Suzuki got in on the action in Monday's 18-8 win over the Pirates. Playing designated hitter, Suzuki went 4-for-6 with three singles, a double, an RBI, and a strikeout. He also stole a base. The 30-year-old has turned things around offensively after a mostly slow month of August, batting .364 with two home runs in his last seven games. This is a good sign for fantasy managers, as Suzuki has produced overall this season, slashing .274/.346/.487 with 18 HR, 60 runs scored, 61 RBI, and 11 stolen bases in 460 plate appearances.

Kansas City Royals Catcher Salvador Perez had a monster performance in Game 2 of Monday's doubleheader 9-4 win against the Cleveland Guardians. He went 2-for-4 with two homers, six RBI, and a walk. Perez is slashing .282/.341/.494 with 26 homers and 94 RBI across 129 games (478 at-bats) this season. His RBI total ranks sixth in the American League. The 34-year-old, playing in his 13th season with the Royals, is having a stellar year and will hopefully continue to lead this time down the stretch.

Boston Red Sox outfielder Jarren Duran had a monster game Monday as his team fell to the Toronto Blue Jays 7-3. Batting from the leadoff spot, Duran went 3-for-4 with two doubles and a two-run home run in Monday's loss. The 27-year-old has been solid all year for the Red Sox but has been scorching hot lately. In his last seven games, he has been slashing .417/.517/1.000 with three homers, five RBI, eight runs, five walks, and a stolen base. Duran will be a key player as the Red Sox hope to secure an AL Wild Card spot.

Chicago Cubs outfielder Pete Crow-Armstrong had a wild day on Monday as his team blew out the Pittsburgh Pirates 18-8. Crow-Armstrong went 3-for-5 with three singles, a walk, an RBI, and three stolen bases. Crow-Armstrong has had an underwhelming year at the plate, but he has been better lately. In his past 15 games, he is slashing .306/.382/.633 with four homers and nine RBI. Despite his inconsistencies at the plate, though, he has emerged as one of the league's best base stealers, stealing 26 of 27 bags this season (ranking 15th in the MLB). Fantasy managers searching for speed or an outfielder should consider adding Crow-Armstrong, as he's only rostered in 15% of Yahoo leagues.
