Atlanta Braves closer Raisel Iglesias threw a perfect ninth inning to preserve a 3-2 win over the Philadelphia Phillies on Thursday. Iglesias struck out all three batters he faced in this one, making easy work of one of the best lineups in baseball. The 34-year-old has been almost untouchable this year, going 27-for-29 in save opportunities while pitching to a microscopic 1.45 ERA and 0.62 WHIP. Iglesias hasn't allowed a run since June 16, a span of 23 IP. The veteran righty is one of the best closers in the game.

Atlanta Braves outfielder Adam Duvall went 3-for-3 with a solo home run in Thursday's victory versus the division rival Philadelphia Phillies. Despite his strong performance, the veteran was pinch-hit for with Jarred Kelenic late in the contest. Duvall, who has always been know for ability to go yard is struggling this season with a .186 batting average to go along with 11 homers and 30 RBI. He has just nine hits over his last 45 at-bats and has mostly been a bench bat for Atlanta. Regardless of his big performance on Thursday, Duvall hasn't done nearly enough to warrant any attention amongst managers. He can safely remain on the waiver wire.

Los Angeles Angels first baseman Niko Kavadas went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run to provide the only offense for his team in Thursday's loss versus the Toronto Blue Jays. The rookie, who recently made his big-league debut collected his first big-league hit when he hit the home run in the top of the ninth inning. Kavadas came over at the trade deadline from the Boston Red Sox and has been playing regularly since his debut on August 18. He is only 1-for-15 thus far, but the at-bats are there for the 25-year-old that hit .264 with 19 homers in Triple-A this season. Despite his opportunity, he will need to hit more for fantasy managers to trust him moving forward.

Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Bryan De La Cruz went 3-for-4 in a 7-0 victory over the division rival Cincinnati Reds on Thursday. The outfielder had two doubles amongst his three hits and also drove in three runs during the contest. Since being acquired from the Miami Marlins at this years trade deadline, De La Cruz has become a fixture in the Pirates lineup. Although he has yet to hit a home run with his new club, he has still put up valuable numbers this season with Miami and Pittsburgh, where the 27-year-old has hit .244 with 18 homers and 58 RBI in 492 at-bats between both clubs. He is not a must-roster, but he is worth a look in deeper mixed leagues, where managers are seeking outfield depth.

New York Yankees outfielder Giancarlo Stanton went 1-for-3 with a walk and three-run home run in Thursday's victory versus the Cleveland Guardians. Stanton's home run came against Nick Sandlin in the bottom of the fifth inning and was rocketed off the bat at 105 MPH. The home run gives the slugger three longballs over his last 34 at-bats, but he has just eight hits during that span. Stanton missed time earlier this season with a left hamstring strain, but has looked healthy since his return on July 29. The veteran is hitting .241 with 21 homers and 55 RBI for the season and as always, will provide power, but his low batting average and constant health concerns aren't for everyone. Stanton will look to go deep again on Friday when the Yankees open a three-game set at home versus the Colorado Rockies and Kyle Freeland.
