There remains no timeline for Minnesota Twins shortstop Carlos Correa's (heel) return from the plantar fasciitis in his right heel, head athletic trainer Nick Paparesta said on Tuesday. Correa ran again on Tuesday, still experiencing discomfort, as the Twins are still managing their shortstop's situation of pain management. Although he reported feeling better than he did the last time he ran, Correa still isn't running the bases. The 29-year-old star infielder has been on the 10-day injured list since July 20, and there's simply no telling how much longer this issue might linger for. Until Correa is back with Minnesota, super utility man Willi Castro should remain rostered in all fantasy leagues.

Minnesota Twins catcher Ryan Jeffers went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's loss versus the San Diego Padres. The power hitting catcher now has 20 homers on the season to go along with 59 RBI and a .233 batting average in 326 at-bats. Jeffers has now homered three times over his last 15 at-bats as his power continues to surge. Despite his ability to go yard, he has been in a pretty even timeshare for most of the season with backstop Christian Vazquez. Because of his inconsistent play, Jeffers is hard to recommend on a daily basis in one-catcher leagues, but he is worth rostering in two-catcher formats.

Minnesota Twins starting pitcher Pablo Lopez was able to hold the Texas Rangers offense in check during Sunday's game. The right-hander tossed six shutout innings while allowing six hits and striking out three batters in a no-decision. Lopez left the game at 107 pitches and with a four-run lead. Sadly for Lopez, the Twins bullpen coughed by the lead by giving up five runs in the seventh inning. Lopez has been fantastic on the mound over the last few months. He holds a 2.91 ERA across his last 10 starts, so he'll be a strong fantasy option for his next outing against the St. Louis Cardinals.

Minnesota Twins infielder Royce Lewis is taking a seat ahead of Sunday's game against the Texas Rangers. This appears to be a routine rest day for Lewis so fantasy managers don't need to be concerned about an injury. Lewis has collected three hits in this series, so him sitting out isn't due to poor performance. The expectation is he'll be back in the lineup after this contest. Jose Miranda will cover third base and bat second versus right-hander Tyler Mahle on Sunday. Miranda is one of the biggest surprises in baseball with a .308 batting average and nine home runs with 46 RBI in 93 games. He should be rostered in most fantasy formats with the way he's swinging the bat.

Minnesota Twins relief pitcher Jhoan Duran tallied his 17th save of the campaign on Thursday evening as he tossed a clean ninth inning. He struck out the first two batters he faced and earned the third out via a ground out. Duran has earned two saves this month with a strong 1.80 ERA and a 0.80 WHIP. Overall, the 26-year-old holds a 3.43 ERA, 1.02 WHIP, and a 12:41 BB:K ratio through 39 innings of work. However, he sports an excellent 2.82 xERA, which suggests he should continue to lower his ratios during the second half. In addition, he excels at generating ground balls at an impressive 59.4% rate which also shows he could continue to succeed. Duran remains one of the better relief options in fantasy and should continue to see a majority of the save opportunities in Minnesota.
