Williams is reportedly expected to miss the rest of the season after suffering a torn ACL. This is a tough break for the Hornets as Williams was playing big minutes for them. He's averaging 10.4 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in 29 minutes per game this season. The Hornets are already banged up with Nick Richards (ribs) and Mark Williams (foot) sidelined right now. In the short term, Moussa Diabate figures to see more minutes in the rotation. Once healthy, Richards should have a significant role and is looking like a great stash where he's available.

He was initially listed as probable after sustaining the injury during Wednesday's win over the Pistons. With Miles Bridges (knee) out, the 25-year-old is expected to be part of the starting lineup. Across eight contests, Williams is averaging 8.6 points, 2.6 assists, and 4.0 rebounds in 26.0 minutes per game.
