CS:GO PrizePicks for March 21

Welcome to the beginning of the CS:GO PrizePicks articles where we will be targeting the best props of the slate. While other focus just on one tier, PrizePicks focuses on every tier in CS:GO, which makes it that much more enticing to watch.

Speaking of “PrizePicks,” it is a creative new way to parlay picks based on expected fantasy point production.

How to play PrizePicks CS:GO

The format is simple. You will pick two, three or four players and predict if they will go over or under their fantasy point total.

For CS:GO, the scoring is also just as simple as players score +1 fantasy point for a kill and then –1 fantasy point if they kill a teammate.

When parlaying the players, the larger your parlay, the better the payout:

  • Two-pick entry pays 3x (max entry: $400)
  • Three-pick entry pays 5x (max entry: $200)
  • Four-pick entry pays 10x (max entry: $100)

As a bonus offer, there is a “flex play” option if you choose to run a 4-man parlay. This will provide some security, as you can earn 1.5x your buy-in if three of your four picks hit.

For Sunday’s slate, the first series will start at 7 a.m. ET.

CS:GO PrizePicks for today

Here's a look at my favorite picks on PrizePicks Sunday.

  • Sh1ro OVER 40.5 — While you can even go the s1mple route here of over 44.5, I believe it will be easier for sh1ro to hit his projection. He has now gone over the 40-kill mark in the first two maps of the last five series besides their sweeping victory over Spirit. This is another statement series for Gambit to prove they belong in the Tier 1 events. Like I said, both s1mple and sh1ro, projections are ones I like but I believe the 40.5 kill mark is easier for sh1ro then s1mple’s 44.5.
  • Lollipop21k UNDER 40.5 — Now this could be the riskier pick of the bunch but Lollipop21k has only hit for over 40 kills twice in his past ten series. While they do get a “juicer” series versus EXTREMUM, Lollipop21k is actually bottom fragging for this event. He has dropped from a 1.19 player rating to a 1.07 player rating.
  • prt UNDER 31.5 — prt and TeamOne are at point as a team where they are completely struggling with nowhere to go it seems. They do face another struggling team in Cloud9 but even with this match-up, it does not look good for them. For prt, he is also at point where his struggles are just getting worse. In his past five series, he has totaled 23, 34, 26, 35 and 44 kills in the first two maps of each series. While there are some standout series, he just has not been able to put together consistent series.
  • Xeppaa OVER 36.5 — Staying within the same series as above, Xeppaa is sitting at a 36.5 projection versus a very bad TeamOne. We talked about the struggle that TeamOne has and while Cloud9 has similar issues, Cloud9 is in a much better position to win here. TeamOne is known to get swept at a high rate of 54%, which means map one and two can get bloody and it gives Xeppaa the upside to go above the 36.5 mark.

Favorite combinations

  • Sh1ro (o40.5), Xeppaa(o36.5)
    • Payout 3x
  • Sh1ro (o40.5), Xeppaa (o36.5). Prt (u31.5)
    • Payout 5x
  • Sh1ro (o40.5), Xeppaa (o36.5). Prt (u31.5), Lollipop21k (u40.5)
    • Payout 5x

For this Sunday slate, I believe going for 10x is attainable, but with Lollipop21k being in a match-up versus EXTREMUM, he may break the over of 40.5, and that is the reason why I said it was a riskier choice above.
