Welcome to a Saturday edition of MLB best nets. Below, we’ll look to build off the momentum we gained from cashing the Kevin Gausman strikeout ladder Friday. We’ll focus in on two different games, with one hitter from each of them.

Chicago White Sox at Cleveland Guardians

Our first looks will come from an AL Central division matchup between the Chicago White Sox and Cleveland Guardians, taking place in Guaranteed Rate Field in Chicago.

Luis Robert Jr. has been the lone shining star in a very dark season for the South Siders. Robert comes in second in the AL with 29 home runs and is averaging .267 at the plate with 59 RBIs. Robert has feasted on LHP all season with a .333 AVG compared to only .250 against righties. Saturday, he’ll will face Logan Allen, who he’s had great success against with a  .667 AVG (4-6, 3 1B, 1 2B). We’ll back Robert to keep the good times rolling against Allen and record at least 1 hit.

Texas Rangers at San Diego Padres

Next we will transition our focus to the west coast, as the Texas Rangers are in San Diego to take on the Padres in Game 2 of a weekend series. Manny Machado has been dominant against LHP this season as he enters with a .326 AVG with 5 home runs and 17 RBIs. Much like Robert, Machado Saturday will face a familiar foe in Martín Pérez. In 18 plate appearances, Macahdo has a .333 AVG with six hits and three RBIs against Pérez. Machado has been excellent at the plate at home with a .297 AVG compared to only .218 on the road. We’ll back Machado to record at least one hit in front of the Friar faithful.

Best Bet

Luis Robert and Manny Machado 1 Hit Each (Parlay, +100, DraftKings Sportsbook)

Robert and Machado have many similarities here, as they both have crushed LHP this season and both get to face a familiar lefty foe across from them. Robert has recorded a hit in eight of his last 10 games at home while Machado has recorded a hit in nine of his last 10 home games as well. We’ll back two of the best in the business to stay hot at home.
