Tennessee Titans offensive tackle JC Latham has shed weight this offseason in an effort to get faster and more agile. The No. 7 overall pick in last year's draft out of Alabama said he weighed as much as 360 pounds during his rookie season, and he is now 337 pounds. "I just felt a lot slower, and it was embarrassing for me," Latham said after practice on Wednesday. "That was my biggest focus, really to just get in a lot better shape." The 22-year-old spent last season at left tackle despite playing his collegiate career at right tackle, but he's moving back to the right side after the team signed former Pittsburgh Steelers blindside protector Dan Moore. With rookie quarterback Cam Ward slated to take over Brian Callahan's offense in Tennessee, giving him adequate pass protection will be key to a successful debut campaign.

Tennessee Titans cornerback L'Jarius Sneed (knee, quad) continues to make progress and should be "ready to go for the fall," according to Jim Wyatt of the team's official website. His rehab workouts have included reps on the grass, and head coach Brian Callahan is reportedly pleased with the cornerback's progress. Acquired from the Kansas City Chiefs last offseason, Sneed was only healthy for five games during his first campaign with the Titans. Along the way, he made 23 tackles but failed to force a turnover.

Jim Wyatt of TennesseeTitans.com reports that the Tennessee Titans have signed quarterback Cam Ward to his rookie deal. The first overall pick of April's draft inked a four-year, $48.75 million contract with a $32.1 million signing bonus. Though the Miami alum has been splitting reps evenly with teammate Will Levis thus far in the offseason, there is little reason to believe he won't be able to overtake him come the start of the year. It isn't guaranteed, but unless Levis has significantly improved since his playing time last season, the draft capital and talent will likely prevail. Fantasy managers shouldn't expect Ward to impact fantasy lineups immediately, but if he opts to scramble often early on, it would be a big boost to his floor.
