It’s Week 14, and the post-Thanksgiving action is heating up in the college football world. This can be a tricky time of year with players hitting the portal or beginning to sit out for draft preparations. Despite all of the chaos, we have found two advantageous props that we are going to focus on this weekend. Let’s get into it.
You can also check out my favorite game bets of the week.
Behren Morton (Texas Tech) Over 285.5 Passing Yards
(-117, Caesars)
Morton and the Red Raiders are fresh off a 56-48 win over Oklahoma State in what was a high-scoring affair. Morton put on a master class of efficiency, completing 35 of his 50 passes for 366 yards and 4 touchdowns. He has another fantastic matchup on paper against West Virginia, and we can expect another game that features plenty of passing volume.
He has attempted 40 or more passes in four of his last five games and he will have plenty of opportunities to deliver another 300-yard performance. West Virginia contained Dylan Rizk of UCF last week but surrendered at least 279 passing yards in four straight matchups prior to that.
The defense has to account for star RB Tahj Brooks as well so Morton should have no problem picking apart this mediocre secondary.
Tyler Warren (Penn State) Over 78.5 Receiving Yards
(-117, Caesars)
Tyler Warren has been one of the best offensive weapons in all of college football this season. The combo tight end/H-back is a surefire NFL draft pick and has a dream matchup against the Maryland Terrapins, a defense that would make Daniel Jones look like Joe Montana at this point.
Warren has gone over 100 receiving yards in back-to-back games and the team is force-feeding him the ball in myriad ways right now including giving him carries. He has been targeted 29 times in his past three games as well.
This number is just far too low for an offensive player that is going to wreak havoc all day long.
