The sample size for the 2024 NFL season grows larger, so we can start to be a little more confident in how we’re attacking certain defenses with specific players in DFS. It’s also the NFL, where underdogs of 5.5 points are 9-1 against the spread with five outright wins, so we’re also seeing plenty of the old adage “on any given Sunday” play out. Let’s talk about who we like this upcoming Sunday.

Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals ($8,300)
It sure looks like Kyler Murray is a lot closer to being the player he was before his ACL injury, as he’s rushed for more than 50 yards in both games so far. He’s also sporting the seventh-highest completion percentage when he’s pressured. Detroit has generated the ninth-most dropbacks with pressure, but they’ve also allowed the sixth-most passing yards. The Lions are ninth in DVOA against the pass so far this year, but Murray is playing at a very high level. He’s ninth in aDOT and second in catchable air yard rate along with five completions of over 20 yards. Only Derek Carr has a higher accuracy rating in the first two weeks and this game could certainly turn into an up-and-down game.
