On Monday, the Orlando Magic announced that centerGoga Bitadze(concussion) is available to suit up against the Miami Heat. Bitadze had missed seven consecutive contests due to a concussion. He was at the team's shootaround on Monday and has cleared the NBA's concussion protocol. The 35-year-old has been a starter in 33 of the 36 games he's played in this season. However, it is unclear if he will replace Wendell Carter in tonight's starting lineup.

He played only 12 minutes against the 76ers on January 12, exiting prematurely because of a hip injury. Unfortunately, the 25-year-old has been sidelined for Orlando's previous six contests due to concussion-like symptoms. But the questionable designation at least suggests Bitadze is moving in a positive direction, so it appears he has a chance of returning at some point during the Magic's six-game road trip. While he is sidelined, Wendell Carter Jr., averaging 8.7 points and 8.0 rebounds in 25 starts during the 2024-25 campaign, will likely continue to fill the spot in the rotation.

However, he also developed concussion-like symptoms, keeping him off the floor for Orlando's previous five games. Bitadze was questionable, so it appears he could be close to returning. But for now, Wendell Carter Jr., averaging 8.6 points and 7.9 rebounds in 24 starts this season, will fill Bitadze's spot in the rotation.
