What is JockMKT?
JockMKT is a fantastic new fantasy football platform that combines the financial market and sports. Bidding on a player as an IPO and getting paid out where they finish on the day. Example: “If fifth place overall is worth $20, and Tom Brady finishes with the fifth-most points, then every user holding Tom Brady receives $20 per share.” It is a fun way to try and buy low on top targets that week who have big time upside and can pay off their IPO price.
How does bidding work?
Bidding is very similar to Ebay. You enter a max bid and JockMKT will only use your max bid on players if needed. If no one competes you will get the player at their initial offering.

Five players to bid on in Week 7
Patrick Mahomes, QB, Kansas City Chiefs
Bid until top 4
I rarely ever suggest bidding up a player this high as there becomes a big downside risk, but I think Patrick Mahomes is the most likely player to lead the day in fantasy points. This game has a 57.5-point total and the Titans pass defense has allowed the third-highest completion percentage. The Titans defense has relied on blitzing quarterbacks to stop them this year; that won’t work against Mahomes, who is the most dangerous QB in football against the blitz.
Sam Darnold, QB, Carolina Panthers
Bid until top 25
Sam Darnold is going to go overlooked this week and provides massive upside against a Giants defense allowing the highest adjusted completion percentage in football. Since Christian McCaffrey went down, Darnold is averaging 39 pass attempts per game and has game-breaking talents in receivers DJ Moore and the explosive Robby Anderson. The Panthers dropped eight passes last week and are unlikely to do that again.
A.J. Brown, WR, Tennessee Titans
Bid until top 25
I love A.J. Brown this week — hopefully, he should be past his battle with bad Chipotle. In the games he has played at least 64% of the snaps he has 27.5% of the targets and 39.2% of the air yards and takes on a Chiefs defense that is second worst in DVOA in football, allowing the third-most yards per attempt. The A.J. Brown explosion game is coming soon, and it might just be this week.
Robby Anderson, WR, Carolina Panthers
Bid until top 40
Stacking is a popular option in DFS, and it works well on JockMKT as well. If Darnold has a big game, he will be taking Anderson and/or DJ Moore with him. They have commanded two-thirds of the air yards and over half of the targets since McCaffrey got injured. While Anderson has not done anything with it, he has 29 targets and 326 air yards the last two weeks. He is a big-time buy-low candidate.
James Conner, RB, Arizona Cardinals
Big until top 45
James Conner already has two games this season with multiple touchdowns, and he could be staring at his third this week against the Texans. As 18-point home favorites with an implied team total of 33.5, the Cardinals are expected to railroad the Texans. So far this year, the Texans have allowed the most rushing touchdowns and the most attempts inside the 5. That is music to Conner’s ears as he has 87% of the running back goal-line carries and 66% of the running back red-zone touches.
