What is JockMKT?
JockMKT is a fantastic new fantasy football platform that combines the financial market and sports. Bidding on a player as an IPO and getting paid out where they finish on the day. Example: “If fifth place overall is worth $20, and Tom Brady finishes with the fifth-most points, then every user holding Tom Brady receives $20 per share.” It is a fun way to try and buy low on top targets that week who have big time upside and can pay off their IPO price.
How does bidding work?
Bidding is very similar to Ebay. You enter a max bid and JockMKT will only use your max bid on players if needed. If no one competes you will get the player at their initial offering.

Five Players to Bid on in Week 18
Stefon Diggs, WR, Buffalo Bills
Bid until top 15
Stefon Diggs has been a disappointment this season, despite the raw volume stats. He gets an excellent matchup against the pitiful Jets as the Bills need a win or a Patriots loss to secure the division. Diggs is highly incentivized to have a massive game, needing 6 receptions to crack 100 for the season, and if he is able to get 231 yards in this one, he would add $1.55 million to his base salary the next two seasons.
George Kittle, TE, San Francisco 49ers
Bid until top 30
The 49ers could have Jimmy Garoppolo back for their near-must-win game against the Rams (they could get into the playoffs with a loss if the Saints also lose), but whoever is under center should feed George Kittle in this game. Kittle has dominated the Rams in his career, averaging 5.5 catches and 87 yards per game in eight career appearances against the team. The includes the first game against them this season, when he had five catches for 50 yards and a touchdown. While those numbers aren’t overly impressive, it’s important to note the 49ers dominated so much they barely threw the ball in the second half.
Mark Andrews, TE, Baltimore Ravens
Bid until top 40
The Ravens’ playoff chances are slim. Real slim. In fact, at just 2%, they have the lowest playoff probability of any non-eliminated team. This is why Tyler Huntley is starting again in place of Lamar Jackson, but that is good news for Mark Andrews, who has been on a tear, despite “only” 4 receptions for 81 yards last week. Andrews has a chance to set the single-season record for most yards for a tight end in history with 141 yards. If he gets close, they will feed him late to try and get it for him.

Rob Gronkowski, TE, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Bid until top 40
Gone is Antonio Brown as the Buccaneers take on the Panthers, needing a victory to claim the No. 2 seed in the NFC. The only healthy, reliable weapons for Brady in this one are Mike Evans and Rob Gronkowski. Not only as a team do the Bucs have a lot to play for, but Gronkowski has up to $1.5 million in incentives he can earn in this game.
Rashaad Penny, RB, Seattle Seahawks
Bid until top 50
Coming off a career game where he led the league in rushing last Sunday, Rashaad Penny is projected to finishing the bidding process at 61st, and that is simply too low. While he is highly unlikely to repeat last week’s performance, he does take on a Cardinals defense that allows the second-highest gash rate (runs of at least 10 yards) in all of football.
