Washington Commanders wide receiver K.J. Osborn (illness) is officially inactive for Sunday's Week 18 contest against the Dallas Cowboys. Osborn had been listed as questionable with an illness, but it's also possible that his absence is non-injury-related and merely a coach's decision, as has been the case most weeks since Washington claimed him off waivers from New England. Terry McLaurin remains the Commanders' primary receiver with Olamide Zacchaeus thriving in a complementary role. Dyami Brown, Luke McCaffrey, and Jamison Crowder are depth pass-catching options for Sunday's regular-season finale.

Washington Commanders running back Austin Ekeler (concussion) is officially active for Sunday's Week 18 contest against the Dallas Cowboys. He had been listed as questionable but was widely expected to play after the Commanders activated him from injured reserve on Saturday. The 29-year-old spent the minimum of four games on injured reserve after suffering a scary head injury on special teams. He returns to his role as the No. 2 running back in Washington behind Brian Robinson Jr., but he'll still be able to carve out a significant workload. Through 11 games when healthy, Ekeler tallied 355 rushing yards, 346 receiving yards, and four touchdowns. Notably, he has scored a receiving touchdown in every season except 2024, so he'll have one last chance to extend that streak on Sunday. Ekeler will rank as a mid-range RB3 thanks to his pass-catching upside and Robinson's recent struggles.

Washington Commanders running back Austin Ekeler (concussion) has been activated from injured reserve. He will play in Sunday's Week 18 contest against the Dallas Cowboys. The 29-year-old missed the minimum of four games after suffering a serious concussion on a special teams play back in Week 12. He looked solid in a backup role when healthy, totaling 355 rushing yards, 346 receiving yards, and four touchdowns while operating as the Commanders' No. 2 running back behind Brian Robinson Jr. Ekeler remains a low-end RB3/FLEX play in his return to the field on Sunday.

Washington Commanders running back Jeremy McNichols is not a viable play in any fantasy format on Sunday when the Commanders face the Dallas Cowboys. Last weekend in their overtime victory over the Atlanta Falcons, McNichols saw just one rushing attempt. During Weeks 15 and 16, McNichols saw two attempts in each contest. With Austin Ekeler (concussion) sidelined, McNichols has struggled to remain in the No. 2 role, as Chris Rodriguez Jr. has begun to carve out a larger role behind Brian Robinson Jr. However, McNichols may be in danger of even losing the No. 3 spot, as Ekeler is listed as questionable for this game after logging three consecutive full practices. Regardless of Ekeler's staatus, McNichols remains a high-risk desperation play in this contest.

Despite the Washington Commanders offense excelling this year under impressive rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels, veteran wide receiver Jamison Crowder hasn't made much noise, even with Noah Brown (kidney) recently suffering a season-ending injury. That probably won't change in the Week 18 regular-season finale on Sunday against the division-rival Dallas Cowboys and their beat up defense. The 31-year-old saw a season-high five targets in last week's overtime win over the Atlanta Falcons, but Crowder caught only three passes for 25 yards. The 31-year-old is averaging a career-low 8.0 yards per catch and has only nine receptions on 13 targets for 72 yards and two touchdowns in the five games he's played this year. The Cowboys defense has allowed the sixth-most half-PPR points per game to wideouts this season, but Crowder's minimal role on offense makes him avoidable in fantasy yet again in Week 18.
