Week 3 of the NFL season kicked off Thursday, and the prop bets are now available for the weekend games. Using the FTNBets Prop Shop, I have identified some of the top prop bets this week on FanDuel Sportsbook. Let’s take a look at which ones are worth a wager.
My three favorite prop bets at FanDuel for NFL Week 3
Here are three bets I’m targeting for Week 3 on FanDuel Sportsbook.
Quintez Cephus remains the WR1 in Detroit
Over 3.5 catches, -114
FanDuel has the best price on this Quintez Cephus prop. With Tyrell Williams landing on IR, Cephus has stepped in as the de facto No. 1 WR in Detroit. He catches a Baltimore team that has some injury issues at CB in a game where his team is a home underdog. They should be trailing and throwing often. Cephus had 4 catches as the “X” WR in this offense Monday night against Green Bay. T.J. Hockenson and the RB duo will see their fair share of targets as well, but Cephus looked good in his first showing as the top dog and should continue to see his target share grow.
Teddy Bridgewater continues to tally up the yardage
Over 242.5 passing yards, -115
I do not get why this number is so low. Teddy Bridgewater has looked great to start this season. Everyone thinks of Denver as a huge run-happy offense, but so far Bridgewater has thrown for 264 and 328 in his first two games as the starter for the Broncos. He draws an absolutely abysmal Jets defense with a garbage secondary for his game this weekend. I am allowed to say that because, as a Jets fan, I have the misfortune of watching them get torn up week after week. It’s also a bit of a revenge game, as Bridgewater was in the Jets QB room two years ago and was traded away.
Matthew Stafford could top the leaderboards in Week 3
Most passing yards of Week 3, +2700
Shout out to our own Eliot Crist for putting me on this one at a very high number for a very possible outcome. The Tampa run defense is lockdown, so the way to attack them is through the air. You know Tom Brady and that offense are going to put up points on the Rams, so Matthew Stafford should be chucking it early and often in this one. Cooper Kupp has looked great, and Stafford also has other weapons in WRs Robert Woods and Van Jefferson and TE Tyler Higbee. If this turns into the higher-scoring game many expect it to be, Stafford and Brady could end up dueling with 350-plus yards and a couple touchdowns each. At +2700, we have some value here.
