Carson was the Seahawks’ seventh-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, with only four players going after him. He took control of the team’s backfield quickly, though, flashing as a rookie through four games before an injury cost him the rest of the season. He topped 1,000 yards in 2018 and 2019 before injuries, an increased attention to the passing game and the presence of Carlos Hyde held him to 681 in 2020.
The Seahawks now have Rashaad Penny atop the backfield depth chart, pending offseason moves.
