The Seattle Seahawks signed free-agent wide receiver/tight end N'Keal Harry to their practice squad on Monday. Harry opened the 2024 campaign on the Minnesota Vikings' practice squad but found himself back on the open market after being cut last month. The 26-year-old former first-round pick of the New England Patriots in 2019 out of Arizona State proved to be a bust in Boston, catching 57 of 103 targets for 598 yards and four touchdowns in 33 games (18 starts). He played in nine games with the Vikings last year but didn't see a single target while playing only 20 snaps on offense. DK Metcalf (knee) has missed the last two games for the Seahawks, so Harry will give the team some more depth at the position moving forward. Harry can continue to be ignored in all fantasy formats.

Harry said heard "whispers" during his career about moving to tight end, but the Vikings were the first team to broach it with him with the idea. With T.J. Hockenson (knee) likely out of action to begin 2024 after a late-season ACL tear last year, it will be interesting to see if Harry can carve out a role in the new-look Vikings offense led by Sam Darnold or J.J. McCarthy. He's not on the fantasy radar in regular leagues, but deep-league dynasty fantasy managers could take a flyer on him.

Through his first 40 games with the Patriots and Chicago Bears, he's collected just 64 receptions for 714 yards and five touchdowns. With T.J. Hockenson (knee) expected to miss the start of the season after suffering a late-season ACL tear in 2023, Harry could be an interesting player to monitor as this development progresses. For now, he is far from the fantasy football radar.
