Another Good Matchup For Houston Kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn

Houston Texans kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn remains the overall No. 1 fantasy option at his position with another favorable matchup on Monday against the Dallas Cowboys. The Houston kicker is up to 11 made field goals from beyond 50 yards already, which ties the NFL record in a season with two more months still to go. Houston will take on a Cowboys defense that is allowing opponents to score on 46.5% of drives, which is worse than everyone except Carolina, and could be even further stressed due to their offense's struggles without quarterback Dak Prescott (hamstring). Fairbairn should be in all starting lineups against Dallas.

Ka'imi Fairbairn A Rebound Candidate In Week 10

Coming off his first game of the season with two missed field goals, Houston Texans kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn will look to rebound in Week 10 against the Detroit Lions. Even after a lackluster performance against the New York Jets, the veteran kicker still ranks first at his position, is perfect on extra points, and has converted 21 of 25 field goal attempts, which includes 10 made kicks beyond 50 yards. An indoor game with shootout potential this week warrants starting Fairbairn again, even after a shaky performance.

Ka'imi Fairbairn Misses Two Field Goals In Loss

Houston Texans kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn had a rough outing on Thursday night along with the rest of the team in the 21-13 loss to the New York Jets. The 30-year-old made a 29 and 54-yarder as well as an extra point but missed a 27 and 56-yarder. This was the first game all season that Fairbairn missed more than one field goal which brings his overall percentage down to 84.0%. He'll look to bounce back in a Sunday night game against the Detroit Lions in Week 10.
