Odell Beckham Jr. To Be Rested In Regular Season Finale

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. was rested in practice all week and will be held out of the Week 18 regular season finale on Saturday against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Rookie Zay Flowers (calf) is doubtful and receiver Tylan Wallace (knee) is considered questionable. The Ravens will also rest start quarterback Lamar Jackson with the top seed and a first-round bye in the playoffs already locked up. The 31-year-old Beckham dealt with various injuries all year and was extremely inconsistent for fantasy managers in his 14 games played, catching 35 of 64 targets for 565 yards and three touchdowns. With both OBJ and Flowers out this weekend for a Ravens offense led by quarterback Tyler Huntley, Rashod Bateman and Nelson Agholor will be the top receivers in addition to tight end Isaiah Likely.

Zay Flowers Doubtful To Play In Week 18

Baltimore Ravens rookie wide receiver Zay Flowers (calf) didn't practice all week and is listed as doubtful to play on Saturday night in Week 18 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Ravens have the top seed in the AFC and a first-round bye in the playoffs locked up, so they will be resting some players this weekend. In addition to Flowers on offense, quarterback Lamar Jackson, receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and right guard Kevin Zeitler (knee, quadriceps) won't play. Receiver Tylan Wallace (knee) is also questionable to play. Fantasy managers are going to have to ignore Flowers this week and will probably want to ignore Baltimore's offense entirely with quarterback Tyler Huntley making his first start of the year against a Steelers team still fighting for a playoff spot. With both OBJ and Flowers out, Rashod Bateman and Nelson Agholor will be the team's top two receivers in addition to tight end Isaiah Likely.

Darnell Mooney Trending In The Wrong Direction

Chicago Bears wide receiver Darnell Mooney (concussion) missed a second straight day of practice on Thursday as he remains in the league's concussion protocols. Mooney suffered his concussion in the Week 16 win over the Arizona Cardinals and didn't play in last week's win over the Atlanta Falcons. With the Bears season already over, it's likely that Mooney will be held out of the Week 18 regular season finale at Lambeau Field against the Green Bay Packers. The 26-year-old hasn't scored a touchdown since the season opener and has had another disappointing year, catching only 50.8 percent of his 61 targets (31 catches) for 414 yards and the lone score in 15 games. If Mooney isn't on the field this weekend, it will mean more playing time for rookie Tyler Scott, Equanimeous St. Brown and Velus Jones Jr.

Khalil Herbert Dealing With Back Injury

Chicago Bears running back Khalil Herbert (back) popped up on the Week 18 injury report on Thursday and was listed as a limited practice participant. Midweek injuries are usually never a good sign, especially with a team heading into a meaningless Week 18 regular season finale against the Green Bay Packers. The Packers are still fighting for a playoff spot, but the Bears aren't in postseason consideration and could decide to rest Herbert if he's at all questionable to play. If the 25-year-old can't play this weekend, it would throw Chicago's ground game into a state of flux with rookie Roschon Johnson and D'Onta Foreman. After totaling 16 total rushing yards in Weeks 14 and 15, Herbert went off for 236 yards and two touchdowns on 38 carries the last two weeks. His injury now casts doubt on him as an RB2 for fantasy managers against the Packers.

Alvin Kamara Absent Again Thursday

New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara (ankle) missed practice for the second straight day this week on Thursday due to a sprained ankle he suffered in the Week 17 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Even in a must-win game this Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons, Kamara isn't a lock to play if he cannot get back onto the practice field on Friday. Not having Kamara in the fold would be a big blow for the Saints offense in an important game. Fantasy managers will want to check back on Friday for the 28-year-old's final Week 18 status. If he's active Sunday, he's a must-start for those still competing for a fantasy championship in season-long leagues. If Kamara cannot go, Jamaal Williams and quarterback/tight end hybrid Taysom Hill would likely split the backfield duties.
