Stefon Diggs Will Play Against Chiefs

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs (foot) doesn't carry an injury designation for Sunday's Divisional Round matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs. As expected, he's good to go and will play despite appearing on the injury report this week after injuring his foot in the wild-card win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Diggs was held out of practice on Thursday but returned to a limited session on Friday. Gabe Davis (knee) is missing another game this weekend, so quarterback Josh Allen could lean even more on Diggs, who hasn't scored a touchdown since Week 12. However, he was targeted nine times against the Steelers on Monday and caught seven passes for 52 yards. The matchup against the Chiefs is not the friendliest, but Diggs should have plenty of volume to make some noise as the fifth-most expensive WR at DraftKings.

Stefon Diggs Gets Rest Day Thursday

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs (foot) received a veteran day of rest at practice on Thursday after taking part in full on Wednesday. It's a new injury listed for Diggs, but it's apparently nothing major, and he should be just fine to play in Sunday's Divisional Round playoff game against the visiting Kansas City Chiefs. Diggs caught seven of nine targets for 52 yards in Monday's wild-card win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. It's now back-to-back games for Diggs with seven receptions, but he hasn't found the end zone now since the team's Week 12 overtime loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 12. It might be tough for the 30-year-old to return to the end zone on Sunday in the Divisional Round against a Kansas City Chiefs defense that allowed the third-fewest half-PPR points to wideouts in 2023.

Stefon Diggs Leads Bills In Targets, Catches In Wild-Card Win

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs paced his team with seven catches on nine targets in Monday's 31-17 wild-card victory over the visiting Pittsburgh Steelers, amassing 52 yards. Quarterback Josh Allen got the struggling Diggs involved early, linking up with his go-to man twice for 22 yards on Buffalo's first drive. Diggs suffered an injury scare right before halftime but walked off under his own power, and he was back out there for the third quarter after a five-catch first half. Besides a clutch grab on third-and-long, the 30-year-old All-Pro managed only 18 yards in a muted second half. Diggs' scoreless drought extended to six games consecutively from the 2023 regular season as well as six postseason contests in a row dating back to the 2020 year. Diggs aims to be at his best in next Sunday's Divisional clash with shadow cornerback L'Jarius Sneed and the Kansas City Chiefs, who bottled Diggs up for his season low in yards (24) back in Week 14.

Stefon Diggs Seeks First Touchdown Since Week 9

The story of Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs' 2023 season was a tale of two halves. Diggs paced for his best season yet over his first nine games, catching 70 of his 97 targets for 834 yards and seven touchdowns. But the 30-year-old All-Pro followed up by laying one egg after another down the stretch, hardly providing flex-worthy fantasy numbers with 37 receptions (63 targets) for 348 yards and one score in his final eight outings. Diggs $7,400 DraftKings cost has taken a precipitous tumble as a result of the tailspin, as it's the first time since Week 1 against the vaunted New York Jets secondary that Diggs' salary is below the $8,000 plateau. Weather is still likely to be a challenge temperature-wise despite the NFL moving this wild-card game from Sunday to Monday. Even with No. 2 wideout Gabe Davis (knee) out, Diggs resides no higher than on the WR1/2 fringe while likely facing shadow coverage from Pittsburgh Steelers standout rookie Joey Porter.

Antonio Gibson Handles Five Touches In Season-Ending Loss

Washington Commanders running back Antonio Gibson rushed two times for eight yards and caught three of his four targets for 28 yards in the season-ending blowout loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Gibson completely lost his starting job to Brian Robinson Jr. this year, finishing the campaign with just 265 rushing yards, 389 receiving yards, and three total touchdowns. The 25-year-old has fumbled 12 times in four years, which is likely one cause of his decreased playing time since his rookie season. Gibson is scheduled to be a free agent this offseason. Although his days as a fringe RB1 are likely over, he could have PPR value as a pass-catching back in the right offense next season.
