Early 2025-2026 NFL Player Props to Consider

It’s still early in the NFL offseason, but DraftKings has released some early player props, including six quarterbacks and reigning Offensive Player of the Year Saquon Barkley. Taking futures ahead of free agency and the NFL draft is often risky, but can be profitable long-term, allowing for an opportunity to get ahead of the market and lock up significant closing-line value from now until the start of the season. Although there aren’t many options at the moment, a handful of lines stand out that may be worth considering.

Early 2025-2026 NFL Player Props Worth Considering

Jayden Daniels Over 3,300.5 Passing Yards

(-125, DraftKings Sportsbook)

Jayden Daniels is coming off one of the best rookie seasons of all time, leading the Commanders to an 12-5 record as the starter and becoming only the sixth first-year signal-caller to start in a Conference Championship game. He was immediately one of the best dual threats in the league in year one, setting a new rookie record in completion rate (69%) among all players with a minimum of 250 dropbacks, throwing for 3,568 passing yards and nine touchdowns. As a rusher, Daniels finished second among all quarterbacks in rushing attempts and rushing yards, carrying the rock 148 times for 891 yards and six touchdowns. With a year under his belt, it’s safe to assume Daniels should only improve entering year two, but his passing prop is set over 200 yards lower than where he finished last season, making for an intriguing buying opportunity.

Jalen Hurts Over 3,200.5 Passing Yards

The last time we saw Jalen Hurts, he was phenomenal, winning Super Bowl MVP after leading Philadelphia to a 40-22 beatdown against the Chiefs. He did a little bit of everything on offense, dicing up Kansas City for 221 yards and two touchdowns through the air while also tacking on 72 yards and a score on the ground. Since entering the league, Hurts has been a winner, and although the Eagles won 14 games, the team took on a new identity this past season, primarily designed around their new free agent acquisition and Offensive Player of the Year Saquon Barkley. Barkley’s historic season limited Hurts as a passer, throwing for fewer than 3,000 yards (2,903) for the first time since his rookie year when he started only five games. Although the passing volume was down, Hurts played fewer than 15 full games, exiting with a concussion after the first drive in Week 16 and missing the final two games of the regular season. Had it not been for the missed time, Hurts was well on his way to surpass his current 3,200.5-yard passing prop line, averaging 206.6 yards per game on 25.5 dropbacks in 14 full starts. It’s also worth noting that with Kellen Moore (no longer with the team) as the offensive coordinator, Philadelphia was the run-heaviest offense in the league, ranked first overall in rushing rate (56.29%), joining Baltimore (53.55%) and Green Bay (50.69%) as one of only three teams above 50%.
