Denver Broncos Week 4 odds and betting picks

The Denver Broncos look to stay undefeated for the 2021 NFL season in Week 4 after taking down the Giants, Jaguars and Jets. However, Week 4 is a bit of a step up in competition as they host the Baltimore Ravens, who are 2-1 and a top contender in the AFC. Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is leading the offense this year and has been solid with four passing touchdowns, 76.8% completion percentage and no interceptions through three games. The Broncos are slight home favorites for their Week 4 matchup at -1.5 vs. the Ravens.

Super Bowl odds update – Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos have the unfortunate reality of not making the postseason since 2015 — when they made it last time, they won the Super Bowl over the Carolina Panthers. Since then, they’re a collective 34-48 in the standings. However, entering Week 3 of the 2021 season, they’re 3-0 in the standings and Denver’s odds to win Super Bowl 56 have moved slightly to +3000 at BetMGM.

  • Week 4: +3000
  • Week 3: +4000
  • Week 2: +5000
  • Week 1: +5000
  • Preseason: +5000

Broncos futures odds

The main futures markets to pay attention to for the Denver Broncos are odds to win the AFC West and AFC conference odds.

For the AFC West, they trail the Super Bowl favorite Kansas City Chiefs (-120) and are second in odds at +350 to win the division title. The Chargers trail them at +475 while the Raiders come in last at +550. They have a shot to surprise some teams, but Denver needs to win games within the division as it finished 1-5 in games against those three squads in 2020.

As for AFC Conference odds, the Broncos are far down the list to get back to the Super Bowl and sit at +1500 odds at BetMGM to pull it off. That’s the seventh-best odds in the conference and seems highly unlikely given the other three teams in their own division.

Von Miller NFL Comeback Player of the Year odds

Although he’s a bit past his prime as a game wrecker, Broncos defensive end Von Miller could be a great candidate to bounce back for NFL Comeback Player of the Year. The former Defensive Player of the Year suffered an ankle injury in training camp last season and didn’t play a regular season snap. All reports (and the eye test) in Denver say he’s back to his explosive self and he showed in the first three games that he can still make an impact as he had four sacks and eight tackles.

Looking at the Broncos schedule, they’ve got the Baltimore Ravens on deck, which could put Miller in a very good position to rack up the sack numbers with how QB Lamar Jackson holds the ball. If Miller continues this pace and the Broncos finish the season with a winning record, he should be in the forefront of the conversation, along with Dak Prescott, for NFL Comeback Player of the Year. At +2500 odds at BetMGM, it’s worth a bet at this stage.

Denver Broncos betting trends

The Broncos are coming off a season where even though they finished 5-11 in the standings, they were a reliable spread most weeks. They finished 9-7 against the spread in 2020 and 5-3 ATS in road games. They also added to that winning spread total by winning and covering all three games of the 2021 season.

Although totals bettors didn’t find much of an edge for this squad in 2020 with an 8-8 O/U record, bettors in 2021 have been making bank on low-scoring outcomes involving Denver. All three of the Broncos’ games this year have gone UNDER the closing total.

Here are the betting trends from the 2020 season:

  • 9-7 ATS
  • 8-8 on Totals
