Devin Duvernay Will Play In Divisional Round

With Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Tylan Wallace (knee) out for the Divisional Round playoff game on Saturday against the Houston Texans, receiver Devin Duvernay (back) will be activated from Injured Reserve and will play, according to head coach John Harbaugh. The Ravens currently have two open 53-man roster spots, one which will be used for Duvernay, and the other potentially for tight end Mark Andrews (ankle), who is also on IR. The 26-year-old Duvernay has practiced in full all week and will be active for the Ravens, although he most likely will not have a very active role in the offense against Houston. Duvernay hasn't played since Week 14 and has just four catches on nine targets for 18 receiving yards and no touchdowns during the regular season. He's more likely to contribute as a returner on special teams.

Devin Duvernay Questionable, Tylan Wallace Ruled Out

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Devin Duvernay (back) practiced in full all week but is still questionable to play in Saturday's Divisional Round playoff game against the Houston Texans. Meanwhile, fellow wideout Tylan Wallace (knee) missed practice all week and has been ruled out. Duvernay has not played since injuring his back in Week 14. He remains on Injured Reserve, so the Ravens will need to officially activate him on Friday if they want to have him active against the Texans. Before his injury, the 26-year-old had just four catches for 18 yards and no touchdowns on nine targets in 13 games. If Duvernay is activated and cleared, he's much more likely to make an impact for Baltimore as a returner on special teams.

Devin Duvernay Practicing In Full, Tylan Wallace Out

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Devin Duvernay (back) was a full practice participant on Tuesday, while fellow wideout Tylan Wallace (knee) was listed as a DNP. Duvernay hasn't played since Week 14 and is still technically on Injured Reserve, although he could be activated before Saturday's Divisional Round game against the Houston Texans if he's able to put in a full week of full practices without suffering any setbacks. The 26-year-old had just four catches for 18 yards in 13 games during the regular season before getting hurt, so he won't be on the fantasy radar if he's active against Houston. Wallace caught his only pass of the year for a gain of 11 yards in the Week 18 regular season finale, and it's a bad sign he's not practicing after a week off in the wild-card round.

D'Andre Swift Does Little In Loss To Tampa Bay

Philadelphia Eagles running back D'Andre Swift took 10 carries for 34 yards and added four receptions on as many targets for 32 yards during the team's 9-32 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The 24-year-old started the game with a few solid runs, but the Eagles again got away from the run game and went with a heavy passing attack that resulted in little to no points scored. Swift was a victim of play calling toward the end of the season and now enters the offseason as a free agent. It would not be a shock to see Philadelphia prioritize resigning the former Detroit Lion, as he was a big part of their success at the start of the year.

Durham Smythe Invisible Again in Wild-Card Loss

Miami Dolphins tight end Durham Smythe remained far off of the fantasy radar in a disappointing wild-card loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday. He ended the game with three catches on four targets for 12 yards and his longest play was just a five-yard catch. The 28-year-old only registered three games with more than three receptions and ended the year with only 366 yards on 35 receptions and no touchdowns. He only managed to get four more yards than Mike Gesicki in his last season with the Dolphins, but he at least managed five touchdowns. Smythe doesn't seem to be worth a draft pick in fantasy leagues next year unless it's a very deep league that uses almost all of the starters in the league.
