3 Easy and Good QB-WR-TE Stacks in Underdog Best Ball 2024

Underdog best ball ADP is constantly changing throughout the summer, but things don’t (usually) move immediately, so I thought it’d be worth looking at the three best draft slots you can draw if you want the easiest path to a viable stack.

Stacking in best ball refers to drafting the QB and one or more WRs and TEs. For most teams, the ADP lines up for a few of these players to naturally get a stack. So which teams are the easiest and best to land — and which draft slot do you need to score the stack?

We’ll update this article as things evolve over the summer.

Miami Dolphins Stack

If you’re drafting from the 1.02, 1.03 or 1.04 spots, the godly stack of Tua Tagovailoa, Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle will fall into your lap most drafts.

  • Tyreek Hill: ADP 3 (first round)
  • Jaylen Waddle: ADP 26 (third round)
  • Tua Tagovailoa: ADP 117 (10th round)

If you’re drafting from the 1.03 spot, set your draft to auto draft and then leave, you have a very good chance of auto-drafting this team. The players’ ADPs line up perfectly with the 1.03/1.04 draft slots.

And given the insane ceiling all three of these players display on a regular basis, it’s crème de la crème. The only problem is how popular this stack will be given how easy it is to get.

San Francisco 49ers Stack

If you’re drafting from the 1.08, 1.09 or 1.10 spots, then the Brock Purdy, Brandon Aiyuk, George Kittle stack will be an easy one for you to score.

  • Brandon Aiyuk: ADP 17 (second round)
  • George Kittle: ADP 65 (sixth round)
  • Brock Purdy: ADP 105 (ninth round)

Like the Dolphins stack, you might end up with this stack in an auto draft. There are two downsides to this stack: It will be highly rostered, and it doesn’t contain Christian McCaffrey and Deebo Samuel, the two 49ers players with the highest ceilings.

Even still, this is a great stack. The 49ers fantasy playoff schedule is the Rams, Dolphins and Lions in championship week. Heck yeah.

Philadelphia Eagles Stack

If you’re drafting from the 1.10, 1.11 or 1.12 spots, you can easily scoop up Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown. As a little bonus, you could realistically draft Saquorn Barkley (start of Round 2), DeVonta Smith (if he slips 2-3 spots in ADP) and Dallas Goedert, too.

  • A.J. Brown: ADP 10 (second round)
  • Jalen Hurts: ADP 36 (third round)

Possible additions:

  • Devonta Smith: ADP 31 (third round)
  • Saquon Barkley: ADP 15 (second round)
  • Dallas Goedert: ADP 113 (10th round)

Landing Hurts, Brown and Smith is real tough to land. You’d probably need to draft from the 1.10 and have Smith slip 3 spots in ADP, and then have Hurts slip 3 spots in ADP too. So it’s hard, but definitely possible!

The Eagles play the Steelers, Commanders and Cowboys in the fantasy playoffs.
