Toronto Raptors guard/forward RJ Barrett (rest) will not play in Friday's contest against the Utah Jazz. Toronto opens a back-to-back set on Friday and Barrett will be rested for the first leg. He will presumably be brought back into the lineup for the second game on Saturday against the Washington Wizards. Barrett's absence could give a further boost to Ja'Kobe Walter, who has already benefited from Gradey Dick's (knee) health issues. Jamison Battle may also get meaningful action in Friday's game.

Toronto Raptors guard/forward Ochai Agbaji (ankle) will miss Tuesday's game against the Orlando Magic. This will be his second consecutive absence since Agbaji sprained his left ankle in a game against the Chicago Bulls last week. Because Agbaji is absent, the rest of the Raptors bench might see extra playing time. Jamal Shead led the second unit in Sunday's clash against the Magic, scoring 12 points and dishing out four assists in 17 minutes. Agbaji's next opportunity to return will come on Friday when Toronto begins a back-to-back set against the Utah Jazz.

Toronto Raptors guard/forward Scottie Barnes (hip) has received the all-clear to rejoin the lineup on Friday against the Chicago Bulls. Toronto's young star missed Wednesday's clash against the Indiana Pacers due to a left hip contusion. With Barnes back, Ochai Agbaji is expected to return to the second unit. Barnes makes his return in a good spot, as Chicago's games are often high-scoring. The 23-year-old tallied 20 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, and one block in his first meeting with the Bulls this season.

Dustin Dopirak of The Indianapolis Starreports that Toronto Raptors guard/forwardScottie Barnes(ankle) won't suit up on Wednesday against the Indiana Pacers. Barnes will be out of action during the second half of the Raptors back-to-back set due to a hip contusion. His next opportunity to return to the floor is Friday against the Bulls. Immanuel QuickleyandRJ Barrett will likely get more scoring opportunities and will see a boost in fantasy production while Barnes is on the shelf.

According to Kayla Grey of TSN, Toronto Raptors center Jakob Poeltl (hip) won't play against the Boston Celtics on Tuesday. Poeltl will miss his eighth consecutive contest due to a hip injury. The 29-year-old sidelined has left a big hole in the Raptors rotation as he's had career-high 14.2 points and 10.1 rebounds per game this season.Orlando Robinsonhas started at center in the past two games. He has averaged 9.5 points and 6.0 rebounds in these games. Without Poeltl, there is also more playing time forJonathan MogboandChris Boucher.
