New Orleans Pelicans forward Brandon Ingram (illness) is officially listed as questionable for Friday's matchup against the Heat. The 26-year-old sat out Thursday's game against the Rockets due to illness and may miss his second consecutive game. In his absence on Thursday, Trey Murphy III started and is likely to do so again if Ingram remains sidelined. Ingram, averaging 21.4 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 5.8 assists in 33.4 minutes per game this season, is a key player for the Pelicans.

Toronto Raptors wing RJ Barrett (knee) is officially listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Hawks. The 23-year-old played 29 minutes in the Raptors' 121-93 win over the Nets last night, contributing 12 points, five rebounds, and seven assists. Should Toronto opt to rest him on the second night of a back-to-back, Bruce Brown is expected to see increased minutes. Barrett has been averaging 20.1 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 3.7 assists in 33.5 minutes per game with Toronto.

New Orleans Pelicans forward Brandon Ingram (illness) won't play on Thursday versus the Rockets. He has been under the weather, so he carried a questionable designation heading into this one. However, head coach Willie Green didn't rule out Ingram returning to the lineup for Friday's matchup against Miami. At any rate, CJ McCollum and Zion Williamson should see more scoring opportunities without Ingram in the lineup. At the same time, Trey Murphy III and Jordan Hawkins are expected to get plenty of attention from DFS participants.

New Orleans Pelicans forward Brandon Ingram (illness) was absent from the team's practice on Wednesday, and his status remains uncertain for the Pelicans' game at home against the Rockets on Thursday. If Ingram is unable to play, Trey Murphy and Jordan Hawkins are the most probable candidates to see an uptick in minutes. Additionally, C.J. McCollum and Zion Williamson typically see the biggest increase in overall usage when Ingram is sidelined. This season, Ingram has been averaging 21.4 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 5.8 assists in 33.4 minutes per game.

Toronto Raptors forward Scottie Barnes contributed 16 points off the bench as the Eastern Conference dominated the All-Star Game on Sunday, winning 211-186. Making his first All-Star appearance, Barnes shot 7-for-10 from the field with two makes from downtown and picked up eight rebounds, three assists, and one steal in 18 minutes. Barnes was one of four All-Star Game debutants in 2024, along with Jalen Brunson, Tyrese Maxey, and Paolo Banchero, who all suited up for the East. The 22-year-old forward has become a centerpiece for the Raptors and should have a huge finish to 2023-24. Entering the All-Star break, Barnes averaged a near triple-double over a four-game stretch, which could be a sign of things to come.
