According to Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca, Toronto Raptors head coach Darko Rajakovic said Friday that he hopes forward Brandon Ingram (ankle) will be cleared for contact and go through a full practice next week. The 27-year-old has been sidelined since December 7 due to a right ankle sprain, but the team hasn't officially made the call to shut him down for the remainder of the 2024-25 campaign. However, with only four games left, he will likely be shut down officially after tonight's contest.

According to Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun, Toronto Raptors forwardScottie Barnes(hand) won't play against the Detroit Pistons on Friday. The 23-year-old will be out of action during the second leg of a back-to-back set due to an injured right hand. On Wednesday versus the Blazers, Barnes finished with five points, two rebounds, five assists and one steal in 27 minutes on the floor. He's been bothered by a contusion on his right hand, which has undoubtedly impacted his shooting numbers recently. While Barnes is sidelined, Jonathan MogboandCole Swider will be in line for a more prominent role in tonight's contest.

Toronto Raptors forward Scottie Barnes (hand) is available for Thursday's game against the Trail Blazers. The 23-year-old has been bothered by a contusion on his right hand, which has undoubtedly impacted his shooting numbers of late. It's unknown how much action Barnes will continue to receive heading toward the end of the 2024-25 campaign. But as far as Thursday night is concerned, the absences of Gradey Dick (knee), Jakob Poeltl (rest), and Immanuel Quickley (rest) should keep Barnes busy on both ends of the floor.

Toronto Raptors guard/forward Scottie Barnes (finger) is considered questionable for Thursday's matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers. He has sustained a joint contusion on one of the fingers of his right hand. Toronto has begun to rest its big names regularly in recent weeks, but Barnes has made 10 consecutive appearances. Ochai Agbaji (rest), who is returning to the lineup on Thursday, will help fill the void left by Barnes if he can't play. Meanwhile, Ja'Kobe Walter, A.J. Lawson, and Jamison Battle will also have additional playing opportunities.

Toronto Raptors point guard Immanuel Quickley (rest) will not play on Thursday against the Portland Trail Blazers. He will be taken out of the lineup for rest purposes. Jamal Shead is likely to come into the starting lineup to fill in for Quickley, who is expected to return to action on Friday against the Detroit Pistons. Shead has provided decent fantasy value as a starter, averaging 10.7 points, 2.3 rebounds, 6.7 assists, and 1.4 steals in the role. He may even be busier than usual on Thursday night, as Portland allows the 11th-most fantasy points in the league to opposing point guards.
