SuperDraft NBA DFS Picks (12/17)

SuperDraft is one of the hottest platforms in the market for DFS players. SuperDraft offers a unique twist on your traditional DFS experience with game modes like “Multiplier” and “Super 15.”

By eliminating the traditional salary cap structure and providing a points multiplier for every player on the slate, there is almost limitless flexibility when building lineups on SuperDraft. You can load up on all of the studs, but their point multipliers will be low. You can balance those plays out with some long shots that could score up to 2x their fantasy points to vault you to the top of the leaderboards.

If you haven’t played at SuperDraft yet, new users can get an instant $100 match with promo code “FTN” by following these steps.

  1. Sign up at SuperDraft.
  2. Enter the promo code “FTN”
  3. Provide your credentials to register.
  4. By using the “FTN” promo code when depositing, you will get a $100 match instantly of any deposit of $100 or more.
  5. Use this $200 worth of SuperDraft balance to fund your account and be playing in the lobbies.

This is the best promo code you can find, so be sure to use “FTN” and you will essentially double your deposit at SuperDraft. Then come back to FTNDaily and check out our daily SuperDraft content.

As either myself or Zac Graham will continue to do all throughout the NBA season, I will provide you with my three favorite options on SuperDraft DFS for the slate at hand. In this case, we have an 8-game slate on Friday, December 17th.

Buddy Hield, Sacramento Kings (vs. MEM)

Score multiplier: 1.55x

There’s certainly a level of risk associated with rostering anyone on the Kings on Friday given the likelihood of a blowout, but someone has to take the shots. I have a feeling that Buddy Hield will be up to the task. Averaging 1.05 SuperDraft points per minute with De’Aaron Fox, Terence Davis, and Marvin Bagley off of the floor, Hield should see an even bigger boost with Davion Mitchell recently ruled out as well. With the chance that Tyrese Haliburton is an additional scratch, there is quite literally nobody left to handle the ball, let alone shoot. Hield is going to have to do it all on Friday, and a 1.55x multiplier is a great value.

DeMarcus Cousins, Milwaukee Bucks (@ NOP)

Score multiplier: 2x

With Bobby Portis, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Brook Lopez all listed as out, we could very well see a prime DeMarcusCousins game. In all actuality, it’s not reasonable to expect the level of production we saw in his prime, but that’s not to say that Boogie isn’t still an effective per-minute producer.

He’s currently averaging 1.03 SuperDraft points per minute with the Bucks, but sees that jump all the way to 1.33 with Portis and Antetokounmpo off the floor. He’s carrying a 25% usage rate in that scenario. With this in mind, we don’t need the unlikely 30-minute role from Cousins, as anything in the low-20s would suffice. With the 2x multiplier, there is an astronomical ceiling here.

Jordan Nwora, Milwaukee Bucks (@NOP)

Score multiplier: 2x

While Jodan Nwora may not be the first Bucks’ player that people turn their attention to, he’s certainly worthy of strong consideration at his 2x multiplier. As noted in my First Look article:

“The Bucks are slated to be without Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bobby Portis in their frontcourt, leaving the power forward position incredibly thin. Nwora should be able to take advantage given the history we’ve seen. He posted over 30 fantasy points in 27 minutes last game and last season was a 1.27 fantasy-point-per-minute producer with a 29.7% usage rate with Portis and Antetokounmpo off the floor.”
